WTF is LSA?
Almost every player on roster can be found in the College of Literature Science and Arts, Kinesiology, General Studies, Undeclared, or a mixture of the above.

Just FYI - LS&A at UM is like the college of liberal arts at a lot of other schools. It has no particular relationship to athletes.
Follow the link above (little arrow in the quote) to dive into that topic which Carty tried to make his shining achievement and largely failed to deliver (not an unusual problem for him).

 I guess I was leaning towards Losing Streak Academy. Figured they were foreshadowing like a MF.

So they name the players major when referring to them? Good thing we don't do that. "Molecular Genetics junior Craig Krenzel..." That would eat up more business time than the water cooler or fantasy football.

The dreaded vote of confidence. So when is RR going to sign a contract?

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez is 2-4 in his first season with [/URL]the Wolverines, but he has the firm support of athletic director Bill Martin.
U-M is coming off a 13-10 loss to Toledo, its first loss in 25 games against Mid-American Conference teams. It plays at No. 3 Penn State on Saturday.
"There's absolutely no question I'm totally supportive of Rich," Martin, who hired Rodriguez, said Tuesday. "Was I surprised with the loss last Saturday? Sure I was, no question about it. But I think he's the right man for this program at this time.

"You always have to, when you're sitting in my seat, look at long term. You can't look at instant gratification."
Martin preached patience. He reminded that last year in his first season as Alabama's football coach, Nick Saban's team lost to unheralded Louisiana-Monroe.
"And where is he now? Two in the country? Second year," Martin said of Saban. "So things turn quickly."
Also of note, Martin said Rodriguez's contract is "almost done."
Looks like a lot of UM fans were wrong who mocked anyone that claimed the contract was not signed.

Wolverines' AD says he fully supports Rodriguez

By JOE VARDON
BLADE SPORTS WRITER
ANN ARBOR - University of Michigan athletic director Bill Martin stands behind his new football coach, even though the team is off to its worst start in four decades.

The Wolverines are 2-4 under coach Rich Rodriguez - their worst start since 1967 - and suffered their first-ever loss to a Mid-American Conference school last weekend when they were dropped 13-10 by Toledo at the Big House.

Martin, who hired Rodriguez away from West Virginia in December, threw his support behind his coach despite the heat being turned up by media and fans over UM's poor start.

"Of course, yes, there is no question I am totally supportive of Rich," Martin said at the conclusion of the men's basketball team's media day session yesterday. "Was I surprised with the loss last Saturday? Sure. No question. But I think he is the right man for this program at this time."
"Lloyd left a wonderful legacy with the program, but there were some significant holes from graduation where we didn't have the upperclassmen to fill in those positions," Martin said. "We've had to play freshmen, and you can see some of the results of having to do that. You always have to, when you're sitting in my seat, look at the long term. You can't look at instant gratification."
Martin said the e-mails he's received have been overwhelmingly positive, despite the mess fans are witnessing on the field.
"I'm not sure there's a lot wrong with them," Penn State coach Joe Paterno said of the Wolverines during yesterday's Big Ten coaches teleconference. "In our business, people are very, very impatient."

Was it alumni day? I coulda sworn that the Colts and Dolphins bye weeks were the week before...

And since I'm sure that not even a TSUN buffoon would wear a Ryan Mallet #15 jersey, you gotta hand it to the guy in background for eulogizing Tom Slade with that touching tribute!

Scout.com: guys just relax!!!!!!!!

Don't know why, but this thread made me laugh after post #2.
that's pretty much their board all summed up into one thread. as soon as somebody says something critical, the dumbasses like bosays all cry for him to be banned. after the thread degrades into a whiny "why haven't the mods banned him yet" bitch-fest, the original poster gets the boot.

Well to be fair that was probably a troll and given their current (well deserved) situation they're probably getting plenty of the same ilk stopping by to enjoy the suffering (and stir in a little extra seasoning for fun as well).
