Interesting UM issue?

Came across this link, and I'm undecided if it's a big deal or not. Obviously smells dirty, but not sure that it's really all that surprising to hear about from any major program (tOSU excepted obviously )

I wasn't expecting much from UM's qbs on rosters, but they leave a lot to be desired, and these are the good highlights. Definitely a sharp contrast in intensity from last year.

Next time somebody tries to tell you about Michigan's academic superiority relative to Ohio State, just laugh.
And then direct that person to a recent four-part series in the Ann Arbor News detailing how UM football players earn academic credit for doing little or nothing.
Yes, we've all heard about such shenanigans at different schools, including OSU. But this is Michigan, which over the years has smugly insisted its academic standards are more rigorous than most of its competitors.
Not that anyone actually believed that, but now there might be actual proof that it's false.

So here I am sitting in class the other day minding my own business. Before class started a guy who sat around me turns and says "Ohio State huh, you don't see much of those people around here!". I was like oh, ok. He just had to drop in the line of how he was a Michigan fan and how they are going to suck next year as well(not new news to me). I was trying to be sympathetic when I said well you all still have a slim chance in hell in getting TP. Then he just starts blabbering on about how the reason UM was so bad this year was because their starting QB and RB was hurt. Don't forget that they were healthy when the bucks whooped them for the fourth time in as many years, wish I would have told him that. My only response was yep, ok or yeah, didn't really care to listen to the douche after he said "mich". I think from this day on out I might have to wear some type of TOSU apparel just for him.

So today I walk into class and the guy has something to say about the TP signing. Him: "You see that you all signed that stupid QB." Me: "Yeah you would have been all gidy if he would have signed with SCUM." Him: "Well, he isn't going to be that good anyway." Me: "He was the #1 QB last year, he should be something eventually." Him: "Well someone will probably just hurt him then." Me thinking: "Probably SCUM, good luck with that new coach and no QB to run his O!"

"Afternoon" for most folks, but techniqually it IS before 12:00pm. I'll rephrase.
