So, if you lose just once in 6 years to a particular team, then you have the right to call them a "piece of flaming shit school"??? Okay then, as a Buckeye fan, I'd have to say Michigan qualifies as a piece of flaming shit school.

Man, it must suck to be a Wolverine right about now...
No offense to you personally Sniper, but the 90's hurt, and now it's payback.

Cooper who?

:oh:

If you want to, then I don't see why not.

I'm still trying to find a loophole for an extra year of eligibility for Charles Woodson :)

It's called having insiders! Grady is a much better fit for this O than the last O.
This genuinely surprises me. I would think that Grady was more of an I-back or even a 1 back type of guy. I would also think that RR's spread would prefer speed backs with good cutback ability as opposed to more of a "sturdy" back. From what little I know of Grady, that doesn't seem to be his MO.

If Grady is the man this year at UM, It would go against every tendancy that RRod has shown in recent years. WV beat people offensively with advantages created by formation, and winning one on one match-ups with quickness and elusiveness aided by deception. Every single skilled position recruit you guys recruited-signed after Rrod's hire went right with the above attributes. When KG came to UM he was considered a battering ram type. The spread seems to be, by definition looking for the huge play. It just seems unlikely that Grady will get the opportunity to wear people down playing power football, which supposedly is his strenght.
By the way, look back a few years when your coach had some options of what type of back to feature in his offense. Last I heard Steve Slaton was trying to get into the NFL after a pretty nice 3 year career. Jason Gwaltney left WV well rested and untested. (Before I get jumped, I am well aware that there is more to this situation. But still, it is hard to make a big back excell ina scat backs role.

Grady, has the most talent out of any back on our roster. He will be the man like I said , but I expect other backs to get carries. Grady has worked harder than any other back on our roster this offseason.

That explains why he may turn heads this year, but doesn't explain why he's a better fit in this system. You will not see RRod recruiting many, if any, power backs (like Kevin) for his offense... see Larry Caper.

Had the same thought myself, JWins. What will be interesting to see this fall is if Grady, or even Minor have major success; will that change RRod,s recruiting away from the scat back type, toward a more well rounded rb with size (Stewart @Oregon as ex.) UM is always in play for some recruits. Will UM continue to load up on these 5'9" 180lb types?

1. Jonathan Stewart of Oregon is a manfreak. Great size, exceptional speed for his size, good vision etc...These kids don't grow on trees
2. They will very likely continue to recruit 5'9 180 lbs types, if that aforementioned midget can run a 4.3 :) Soon, we'll almost be SEC FAST!!!!!!!!!!
