2007 tOSU Spring Practice (official thread)

The above article mentions Saine as a player to watch in the spring game. Is he going to be enrolling early for sure? I hadn't heard one way or the other.

With how big of a track star Saine is, I highly doubt he is enrolling early, and I think we would've heard more about it if he is enrolling early.

It was mentioned somewhere earlier (maybe in this thread) that only two have enrolled early in time for spring practice (Evege and Scott, IIRC). Saine wasn't mentioned as enrolling early...

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

On the Ohio State football spring prospectus, under offensive formation, it reads: "Multiple."
Of course, it's multiple. What's the alternative, "One-Dimensional?"
The big question is, with so many standout players gone, exactly how multiple can the Buckeyes be?
To answer that, coach Jim Tressel told a story from early 1983, shortly after he arrived at Ohio State as quarterbacks coach.
He and the staff were watching film of the 1982 season, when sophomore Mike Tomczak had taken over the quarterbacking reins from star Art Schlichter.
"One thing (that occurred to them) as we studied the film was, 'Did we err a little bit in asking Mike to do all the things Art did?' " Tressel said. "Because Art played for four years, and it takes learning."

Friday night, while in the stands for the softball game, I was watching a few minutes of practice.

Tyson Gentry still spends time on the field during practice. I saw him motoring along with the specials unit to drills. He appears very upbeat and was enjoying his time out there.

#33 is huge. HUGE.

Albert Dukes looked real good as a PR. Great form and very fluid.

Boeckman was throwing darts on out patterns.

Yes, the practices are closed to the public. And today was the team's first full contact practice and some fights broke out during the Hoot and Holler drill. The boys are getting ready! :oh:

that's what I'm talking about
. They need to have a chip on their shoulders
