2007 Preseason and Regular season Polls

Connecticut is getting the hardcore shaft by getting less votes than Rutgers, Purdue, Michigan, etc...UConn should be around 24-25. Sure, they've beaten easy teams, but so did Purdue to get ranked. UConn actually put a bit more of a whipping on Akron than we did, and they beat Pitt by 20. Not saying that they are BCS material (who knows?), but the pecking order is obviously still messed up.

As bad as it sounds, I want Missagain to win every single game they play up to November 17th. They lose that day

It would only help the Buckeyes. Same with Wisconsin. They need to win out up to November 3rd and then after losing to Ohio State, they need to finish strong

Stanford was a 41 point dog!
I thought the injuries and young players mite ketch up to them, I just thought it would be against Oregon or Cal.
But, USC has a chance with Oregon and Cal ranked highly to get back into the national picture.
If I had to guess, Id say they lose one of the Cal or Oregon games.

I don't believe that USC is going to get their heads on straight. I predict a 2-3 loss regular season year.

Maybe the voters are aware that UConn beat Temple because Temple had a TD taken away by a bad call (and a review that didn't fix it), which should have given Temple the lead with 40 seconds left. The league admitted that the call was blown.

OK, I don't give the voters that much credit. :tongue2:
