Even on Offense Michigan lost some talent.. They Lost Breaston (yes yes I know he sucks, but still a threat nonetheless) and they did lose 2 offensive lineman. So lets get this straight... Michigan Loses the whold defense, 2 lineman, a reciever, and they're 16 spots better than us??

We return basically 8-9 starters on Defense. We return just as many offensive lineman, we return a running back who IMO is just as good as hart (he needs to prove he can do it for 13 games though), and we also return 3 recievers who played extensively...

The only thing thats holding us back really in Dodds mind I think is the QB situation. But if you looked at the schedule we have you'd be stupid not to put OSU in the top 10. I think somewhere around 8-10 would be a good start for us. I think we are that good, especially on defense, but until we see our offense play I'll hold out regaurds as far as top 5 goes.. I think that's the problem: you're using your opinion. Dodd is using his. Hopefully, the Buckeyes will show, once again, that he's a doofus.

It's great to see ND unranked in the Top 10. Then I looked at their schedule. If they get to USC (at home) with only one loss (very doable in my mind) They have a shoo in to one of two major bowls.

Sept. 1 GEORGIA TECH
Sept. 8 at Penn State
Sept. 15 at Michigan
Sept. 22 MICHIGAN STATE
Sept. 29 at Purdue
Oct. 6 at UCLA
Oct. 13 BOSTON COLLEGE
Oct. 20 USC
Nov. 3 NAVY
Nov. 10 AIR FORCE
Nov. 17 DUKE
Nov. 24 at Stanford

After USC it's all cake and after OSU captures both the Big 10 and the MAC there'll be screaming about cupcake schedules against both schools.

I wouldn't worry about it too much--IMO, they'll lose two of their first three (at scUM and at PSU).

guys, guys, guys, GUYS! Chill.

What a great place to start. No respect. Something to prove (as if we didn't need it after the Championship game).

It's a great way to start the season.

They just don't know what the Buckeyes have.

For instance, Todd Boeckman will outplay Henne this year. I don't doubt it.

ND will be losing to UCLA next season also. I would much rather have our schedule next year than theirs. @PSU, @scum and @ UCLA within the first 6 weeks? That sucks.:biggrin:
