The latest USA Today Coaches poll shows some shifting of votes amongst the top 3
Lst week
OSU 1575 (BCS 1.00)
USC 1444 (BCS 0.9168)
Michigan 1428 (BCS 0.9066)

This week
OSU 1575 (BCS 1.00)
USC 1491 (BCS 0.9466)
Michigan 1445 (BCS 0.9168)

So USC picks up about 0.03 points, Michigan picks up 0.01.

I agree... If there was a rematch and Michigan were to win.. Who's the national champion? Ohio State took care of them during the season, why should they have to play them again? I think the BCS these days is about taking advantage of your opportunities. Michigan had a shot, and failed, now it's someone else's shot. If USC lays down on UCLA, then MAYBE Michigan gets in.

I agree. There was also a lot of meltdown this week. West Virginia, Arkansas, Notre Dame...it all adds up to more points for TSUN and USC.

How do you expect a computer to make a meaningful ranking after 4-5 games?
