I'm excited to see Fields after an entire off season with Day, Olave, Wilson, and co.

The entire interior OL returning.

Next year the offense is going to be one of the best we've ever seen. In football.

and the goal should simply be to win The Game and a B1G championship

odds of winning the ESPN tournament while not being a member of an ESPN affiliated conference seem slim

So, essentially, what you're saying is that ESPiN and the SEC/ACC have decided that we'll never win another Playoff Game/Natty?

Somebody must have decided that the 2014-15 season would never happen again. Sad.

:sad: :sad2::sad3:

At this point, yeah you're probably right. One of the lessons I learned after 2018 was not to take college football so seriously anymore since a lot of it was obviously a farce.

Any future Buckeye team that gets into the CFP is going to have to be, at minimum, 3-4 TDs better than any southern team they face. Anything less and you risk taking a chance that what happens Saturday night happens again. 2014 was probably 3 or 4 TDs better than Alabama but TOs and other mistakes made it much closer than it should've been.

Officiating officially sucked BUT me and many here thought we'd hang 40 or better on Clemson.

We didn't. Did we get screwed? Yes. Did we optimize our chances in the 1st half? No.

Did we control MOST of our destiny in the game with Clemson? Yes......

Stop whining, venting, bitching..... like fucking Miami or LeBron getting breathed on during a layup.

O - H....."but he hurt me".... I - O? Jesus.... take a Pamprin already.

They certainly missed out on chances. Just weren't sharp in the RZ and it mostly cost them the game. You can't beat those types of teams with FGs. Fields needs to be sharper on the short passes, and the RBs need to make catches, even tough ones. Just have to find a way in those games. It'll come down to it again next season if they can get this far, and Day and co need to show improvements.

The calls are also part of it. They have an impact, especially this game. It's over though and nothing can be changed. But if people want to complain & vent I totally get it. Shouldn't be surprising and no one needs a chiding every time to remind them that 'we're better than that' or 'winners win & losers whine'. Doesn't mean anything anymore.
