This kid was AWESOME last night...

I wouldn't offer him... I'd kidnap him... Saw Laurinaitis-isms.. pretty sure there were three guys wearing his number.. cuz they were everywhere the ball was

Sure, but is that enough to make Vaughters de-commit? That's the question. I'm sure James might be thinking about it, but until I hear that, I'm doubtful.

I agree, I think he's still going to Stanford, but he'll definitely give us a serious look. Harbaugh and his staff have kids from all over the country sold on Palo Alto and Stanford.

For Student Athletes like this young man Stanford is not a very hard sell, you add in the recent football success it becomes an even better sell. Having said that, anything that helps OSU land this young man I am all for it :).

I think it is a win-win situation for James. I applaud him to be a level headed young man in this day and age. Frankly, Standford is a GREAT school and a degree from it will probably do him wonders during OR after football (probably more so than Ohio State).

On the other hand, Ohio State is no slouch neither (since I am currently an OSU student...hehehe....). Not only we offer good education (some better than the other), the opportunity he would potentially have due to such an enormous alumni base should be equally enticing.

So, wherever he may choose to go, I would GENUINELY wish him well.

(*the reason why I say "genuinely" is because so many time I think we wish the could-be-Buckeyes recruits well out of being politically correct, but, to James, I have a feeling that he will excel on AND off the field wherever he goes.)
