I wonder how he can just transfer from one public school to another. The HS I follow played the Blue Devils twice last year, so I'll probably be able to watch him at least once. Pahokee + Dunkley =

More on Chris Dunkley?s jump to Pahokee
By Jason Lieser | Tuesday, April 28, 2009
The buzz of the day: Chris Dunkley, who has dozens of offers to play wide receiver at major college football programs, left Royal Palm Beach and enrolled at Pahokee.
The news was met with very different reactions at both schools, as expected. To read the full news story, click here.
Blue Devils football coach Blaze Thompson said Dunkley was on campus today and visited with Thompson in his office this morning. Thompson said Dunkley is expected to be in class at Pahokee High tomorrow.
Dunkley said he is going to live with his grandmother in Pahokee. His parents live in Royal Palm Beach.
Thompson immediately shot down any suggestion that Pahokee recruited Dunkley.
?I had heard rumor that he was coming, but I hear rumors about players all the time,? Thompson said. ?I don?t concern myself with it. If a player comes, a player comes.
?I did not ask him why he transferred. All I did was tell him it?s not going to be easy and we?re happy he?s here. We?re going to make him work. I explained to him what we?re about.?

FL wideout may visit Monday
By Eric Guimaraes
WR Chris Dunkley (5-11 176) of Pahokee, FL has contacted USC coaches and tenatatively scheduled a visit to Columbia. He would arrive on Monday. "I'm going to try and get up there," he said. "I'm not sure if I can make it though." Dunkley has over 30 offers and says he is trying to check out some his options. "I won't narrow my list until probably around the end of the summer," said Dunkley. "I am just trying to see what's out there." The only school he has visited so far is Georgia. USC would be his second visit if he is able to make it. Some of his offers include USC, Miami, Florida, FSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Alabama. He does not have any favorites.

Don't really know where FSU stood before this, because I had heard that Dunkley was all Florida and Georgia, but this can't hurt their chances.
Dunkley Names Two Officials
June 29, 2009 by Luke Stampini
Pahokee wide receiver Chris Dunkley has been a prospect on the move this summer, spending time at West Virginia and Georgia. The next stops for the 5-foot-11, 170-pounder include Florida State's Seminole Showtime as well as Florida's Friday Night Lights. This coming fall Dunkley has already penciled in two schools he plans on taking official visits to.
"USC and Ohio State," said Dunkley. "I've never been there before. I want to get out there and check it out."
The Trojans have offered and have been telling Dunkley they are missing a receiver with his skill set on their roster.
