Under Armour All-American wide receiver Marlon Brown has informed ESPN affiliate Web site TotalUGA.com that he will not sign the dotted line on the first Wednesday of February.
"I plan to commit on February 5th, the day after Signing Day. I want a chance to be able to talk to my family and make the right decision."

He should take all the time he wants..
matcar;1287296; said:Well sure. On it's own, that statement stands. But, when the day in question is 90 days out, one could honestly wonder why he's planning on needing that one additional day. I mean honestly, does he have a detailed plan that calls for needing that day? No, of course not.
There's also something to be said for people that have benchmark dates for tasks and can accomplish them by that time. Pryor made it clear he was willing to sign w/ tOSU by that time, but was guided to make additional considerations.
In this case, a young man who still has roughly 100 days to make a decision is stating that he needs maybe 1 more day....just sounds unnecessary.
But, by all means, take all the time you want. You may get left out at certain schools, but then again, maybe not.
