'06 MD CB A.J. Wallace (Penn State signee)

JT has the ability to close the deal, I still feel good about our chances at this point....

JT has proven to be a fantastic closer without question, but you have to agree that his style would seem to be more effective with kids where religeon is imptortant etc.

I wonder if his style is as effective with a kid who states that he likes the swagger of Miami and FSU?

there is no way that all of the recruits JT closes from OOS are very religious... it helps in certain cases but that is just another stereotype.

look at JT's remarkable ability to close top recruits with half as many (or less) offers handed out vs other top programs. People worry too much about losing "highly ranked" players, and lose sight of the fact that some of our best players are complete sleepers (jenkins).

Doesn't seem like his reports have been getting more and more generic as the recruiting season has gone on. First it was Ohio State and Nebraska. Now 5 schools are even a month before he is supposed to announce. If I had to guess I would say that he knows where he wants to go and is now just playing the recruiting game. What do you guys think?

I think that is a pretty good observation, but I think that he has become very interested in some of these other schools.

I almost posted before WadC earlier tonight saying that I've been optimistic about this kid ever since he came to visit over the summer. He's been ours to lose since then, and unless there's something that I haven't been reading in the "premium articles" that hasn't been discussed in here (Nebraska, Free Shoes U, PSU most recently), he's still ours to lose. Heck, he's been comparing every school visit against us since then.

Can we get 2nd's on the kool-aid?
