Being born in '79, before the BTN, I had never seen an actual game with Woody on the sideline. I've seen twenty now. I just checked my on-demand to see if Nebraska has been added to the team list yet, and they haven't. Can't imagine it taking that long tho.

Thanks! She's pretty awesome. She's not a daddy's girl yet. I figure when I can start teaching her cuss words, we'll bond more. :p
That is awesome. Would you believe I've never seen footage of our '70 and '71 championship games? I need to buy them, but if they're going to be on the BTN, I may wait.

By the way, that's a beautiful little girl on your personal page. I've got an eight year old version of that. That is a hell of a fun age, even with the diaper duty you have to do.
Yeah, the BTN can be pretty sweet. One thing that annoys me, though I'm honestly nit-picking...is when they have greatest such and such of a particular decade. They'll have best RB's from the 70's, and a PSU RB will make the list. They didn't play the '73 Buckeye D, one of our best ever...so their stats are suspect imo.

With Time-Warner On-Demand, you'll be able to go under your team name and find all kinds of good stuff. Old games, old coach's shows, etc.

From what I remember, the BTN is currently buying up all kinds of archival footage from members local outlets and such that they didn't have rights to previously. So in the future you may be able to find OLD stuff on there.

Overall, I couldn't be happier that I don't have to watch ESPN for classic games and such.
It is the [Mark May] so far. I think I mentioned that I haven't seen most of these games since they aired live. My God we had some awesome teams back then. It still seems like yesterday when, in 1994, after years of disappointment, me and my friends were saying in August and September that "this year seems different." That four-year run was incredible, and the BTN reruns are amazing and heartbreaking to watch.

The BTN will be the single most tangible thing for non-students to see about the Big Ten - aside from the new teams we're playing. I've had the BTN for a while now, but honestly I haven't watched all that much of it until now. It's a classy operation, and I'm damned glad to be a part of it.

I created that at a "make your own onesie" site. If you have a safe address where I can't find you or stalk you, I'll buy it and send it to your kid. :D

Plus, you ignored this....and since I'm drunk I can badger you a second time

Awesome, thank you! There is a shortage of blood in the summer, especially type O neg right now, so even if you have problems directing, it''s awesome that you are donating.
I don't want to post it but imho, our oline during the JT era is 4th behind UM, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Some years, I think we even had walkons in the 2 deep. Here's a link to the Bill Nagy thread from 06.

Read all the posts not just mine. Somewhere around pg 6 I mentioned going to a game to see Nagy's team play Canton Glen Oak. Mike Hartline and Palmer a big OL who went to IL. played for Glen Oak. Nagy dominated, and Bollman was there. Nagy was drafted by Dallas this year, what did we see that Bollman missed?
I fully agree that we are an Oline away... Unfortunately it takes 4-5 years for a team to establish solid depth and talent there. With this years class looking like it may not be great and last years reaches and lots of interior lineman it might take OSU 3-4 years to even have a high level of talent and depth.
Stow, sorry to hear. Yeah, never know when it's all over......memories are sweet, keep them fresh. Cali
