But if WVU had won, they would have been the opponent in the Superdome, rather than LSU, for the BCS Title game after the 2007 season. Buckeye football, and possibly TTUN football, could have been very different if Pitt didn’t win that Brawl.

Ohio State sophomore defenseman Cole McWard signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Vancouver Canucks last week. On Thursday, he made his NHL debut. And on Sunday, he scored the first goal of his career.
