Now I know how I must seem most game days bitching about people’s jobs.

We lost the turnover battle, didn’t do shit on defense, and still should’ve won.

If your going to call for peoples jobs then place it where it matters.

That’d be Jim Knowles.

I still think we can rebound but let’s be honest we lost to a team who didn’t have their best DL (AGAIN!!) and lost one of their better WRs.

We had no fucking answers on defense.

Not one.

Everything that could have went wrong, did. Burke having the worst night of his career. At Autzen, at night ish, with some terrible calls. This team's only getting better.

to an extent, sure. But most of this isn't exactly new shit. No consistent pressure. JTT being a ghost. Styles being a ghost. Knowles being safe until the worst times. The Burke showing was horrendously bad but a lot of the other defensive deficiencies were things that we see all the time.

Was is still not close enough to even look at? I don’t buy that. We’ve seen SEC refs go to review to add time back based on when an incomplete pass came down out of bounds, so surely this is a reviewable event
It wasn’t because Michigan wasn’t involved

Unfortunately, the clock on the TV isn't the official time. The officials keep time on the field.

I'm usually more of an optimist but it's less so this game in particular and moreso the trend it represents.

This set of players and coaches have legitimately never won a big game at Ohio State, this was supposed to be the year it all came together and it's just more of the same. All hype, half ass results.

Its simply the case that this group gets tight in big games and can't finish. As much as I'd like to hop on board with your sentiment, I see no reason to believe they're gonna figure it out all of a sudden.

An underachieving program this is and will continue to be unless something changes.

I like Howard and he really hasn't done anything to warrant it per se, but if you really want to win a title this year, you have to make a QB change now. You can't win a title with such a limp dick, wet noodle arm at QB. It's just not going to happen. Literally no defense has to play back because his arm commands zero respect.

There's just no way you're going to make it through three games of a playoff against elite teams with a guy who can't push a ball more than 15 yards.
To who? Devin fuckin Brown?

god dammit read the fucking game people.

The defense didn’t do Shit all game.

You want to call for Knowles job or Burke job? Ok but get the fuck off of Will

So...thinking back...

The Marshall game gave Oregon the blueprint for this....they knew they could scheme Ohio State's 2nd level defenders (the back 7) into taking bad angles, biting on misdirection and they knew the scheme puts those guys on islands sometimes as well. Oregon has enough gas in the tank to make things happen.

This Oregon game plan is going to be the 2024 version of the 2013 TE throwback. Everyone is going to run it until they stop it.

Ped State has the horses to do it, too.

Indiana might as well.

This isn't a superior D-line (JT and Sawyer are extremely overrated unfortunately), so they need to bring 5 or 6 to get home.

Love your optimism and hope you're right. If this was a young team I could see it, but it's not. For whatever reason they just aren't getting it done.
