I’d bet dollars to donuts reality isn’t far off of what you described. One detail that's been overlooked is that I read somewhere (and can't find it now) that Manuel fired Moore in a one on one meeting
I initially thought that there's no fucking way that's true. There's no way even Manuel is that incompetent. When I have an employee that's being fired I have to be in the room, an HR rep has to be in the room and one other witness has to be in the room (usually a supervisor, another manager or the GM). That they plan to fire the HIGHEST PAID STATE EMPLOYEE in a one on one? Without HR present? Without another witness present? Without lawyers for both sides present to show where he violated his contract? BULL. SHIT.
BUT, I THINK THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!
My theory: There were lawyers investigating the relationship. Both her and Moore deny it. Investigators tell Warde and whoever else "they are probably fucking, but there's no evidence only heresay. So your hands are tied. Or you're good to go. Whichever way you prefer to look at it." That there was an investigation at all gives everyone plausible deniability. And they were probably hoping they weren't pounding, because another coaching scandal would be a catastrophic nightmare. So they're relieved that at least it's being hidden well enough.
But then a few months ago by and the relationship goes sour. She ends it and Moore's ego can't handle it. He's sending her 100 emojis an hour, calling her relentlessly on the toilet, commenting in emojis on her stair climber vids and knocking on her door. He won't leave her alone so she goes back to said lawyers and gives them evidence of their relationship.
The lawyers then took this info to Manuel. He calls a meeting with Moore one on one, not to fire him at that moment, but to give him a head's up. He previously asked Moore "C'mon, you can tell me dude. You're hitting it, right? C'mon. You're totally hitting it." And Moore denied it. Manuel is pissed off. He tells Moore she could go to the Athletic or ESPN and give them the text messages, all of them. The sexts. The voicemails of him crying, pleasing for her to just talk to him. Moore, who was already eavesdropping on closed doors and having emotional breakdowns on camera and I during meetings, is mentally unstable and loses his mind in Manuel's office. He might have threatened to kick his ass. He might have called him Morbidly Obese Urkel. Hell, he might said the pressure is too much and Warde doesn't know what he's going through and threatens to quit. So Moore says "Fuck that! Fuck you! Pack up your shit! You're fired!"
Then Moore, who is emotionally and mentally unstable at rest can't handle it. He loses his fucking shit, gets in his SUV and goes to the mistresses house and threatens to kill her and himself.
Thats a huge piece of the puzzle. WHY THE FUCK WAS AN EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY UNSTABLE EMPLOYEE FIRED IN A ONE ON ONE? ANY employer firing an employee that high up, with mental issues, would probably offer counseling in that same meeting to avoid any crazy headlines.
The other question I have is did anyone call the mistress after Moore left campus to tell her what happened? Was there any "Yeah, he lost his job and is having a breakdown" or "Pack your shit and go to your parents for a week or so" or "he might be on his way". I'm sure that the lawyers who were investigating were contacted ASAP after that meeting.
This is the one thing I want to know: If this is how it went down. Because if it did? Wow.

Well redzone issues lost us Clemson 2019. But otherwise yep. UGA Ryan Day murders everything with this D
I just like "you know, this thing we made is really good at what it does and either it can work for Shohei Ohtani and not steal for him or we're totally close to the singularity because its very good something we care about"Isn't that the majority of most tech/AI companies these days?
They should be offered this seat...permanently.

I’m not being snide I am genuinely asking:
If you feel confident offensively , why?
Why do you feel anything will be different with the pass protection against a defensive line that might be better than IU’s?
Why do we feel like we are going yo
Score enough points to get this thing? What will suddenly be different about Sayin under pressure? Will he suddenly learn coverage identification in a couple weeks?
Does Day calling the offense suddenly make you feel better? Are we suffenlu
Going to stop 13-14 personnel in the red zone?
I’m not saying I don’t feel good about it but I’m trying to think about what’s going to just be suddenly sifferent and ultimately be the actual difference(s).
I dunno
I thought that was corrupt going by their last 5 years but stupid and corrupt might be itIsn't stupid a condition of employment?
