Lack of ability to hit open 3s is a terrible problem to have. Tilly and Noel are non-entities from 3. Mobley has the talent to be a great shooter, but misses more often than he should - I think he tries to play too fast at times.
Glad we went with the cotton instead of Miami. Miami scares me a little less because beck is aweful and yes their defense is good but I can’t see them scoring 10 on us.
Miami’s the harder matchup, but I don’t think it was a huge difference. Miami has a consistent passing game.
If they can get through the first few drives only giving up 0-3 points, OSU can adjust a bit, get Beck in bad situations, and get sacks and turnovers. Get a lead and exhaust their DL with the run.
If Toney had gone down at the 2-yard line instead of scoring, they could have kicked a 20-yard FG in the last 3 seconds of the game and had much less drama. It was a first down with less than 1:50 left and aTm was out of timeouts.
South Carolina player Oscar Adaway filed a criminal complaint for assault in December 2025, seeking charges against the trooper.
