CB Aaron Scott Jr. (National Champion, transfer to Oregon)

CFP playoff has a final four of Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon, and fucking world beating juggernaut Indiana. How is that stale?

Not gonna lie, whenever I hear fans espouse this, it's always fans of blue blood programs who are upset their programs can't stack talent anymore due to NIL and the portal. College football definitely has issues but this is the most parity the sport has seen in decades. Possibly ever. Certainly within my lifetime.

I mean, as a fan of a blue blood, you're right, and you can count me into that group as well.

Fuck parity, I wanna see the historical giants go at it, and the fact that it benefitted my favorite team more than others is absolutely part of that. Nothing could possibly interest me in natty between ole miss and Indiana.

For the record, all the changes that allowed this parity shift were absolutely needed, and college football is better for it in principle.

Doesn't change the fact that I hate what it's done to OSUs position.

Was looking forward to Scott contributing on a high level next year. But such is life.

Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Won't be shocked if Stefanski goes on to be a good HC in a better organization. Either of the top QB's in this draft won't change the fact that the OL needs to be rebuilt and they don't have a #1 WR. I would fix that before I worry about a QB. That Watson trade ruined the franchise for a decade.

Good thing my favorite team doesn't need either of the top QBs in this draft with a need for rebuilding the OL and they don't have a #1 WR......

Some last ‘26 News: OSU’s Cincere Johnson finishes as the final #4 overall ranked player over the course of the UA week and game. Main recap:

The Cleveland Glenville product is a quick processor and plays with advanced instincts. The ability to diagnose and quickly trigger downhill was easily noticeable during live periods.

5* WR Commit Jamier Brown update to Simmons. Locked in, but will take a couple of OVs to make sure:

“Coach Hartline and I have a great relationship, so him leaving did impact me a little,” Brown told Rivals. “But Ohio State is still Ohio State. They produce receivers, I like Coach Day, and I know I’ll be in good hands.” “The culture at Ohio State is what keeps me committed and feeling good about it. It’s a brotherhood. They play for each other. It’s not about one single player. They’ve always made me feel at home.” “I’ve been there too many times to count. People know me there. I’m comfortable. It feels right every time I’m there.” “My focus right now is on 7-on-7 and training for a big senior season,” Brown said. “I might take three or four official visits, but it’s going to be hard for any school to change my mind. I’m in a great situation with Ohio State. I know where I want to go.”

Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

He is the sixth coach Temu Jimmuh has fired since buying the team in 2012. Yeah, time to look in the mirror Jimmuh.
Yeah, clueless I tell you. He put the organization in the hole and fires the coach who couldn’t bail him out. I don’t know who he is going to get that wants to be stuck with 3 shitty QBs and looking to have to find another.

Indiana Hoosiers (2025 National Champions)

Not as far as talent acquisition it isn't. Both rely primarily on the Portal. I can say there's a fine line between Cig and Norvell too
What I gather is Cig is a full steam ahead kind of guy. He knows which players he wants and he showed that by locking up 7+ guys on the first day or two.

What’s underrated about IU is Cigs culture. These players are going to buy in. I heard about their brutal winter workouts etc. most off season programs are hard but from what I’ve heard IU has a very tough one.

I have to say, Coach Cig seems to have a better grasp on who he is and what he wants to do compared to even Ryan Day who’s one of the best out there.

You haven’t seen Cig make wild over over corrections based on previous issues. He just continues within his process and on he goes.

We’ll see how he does without his coordinators one day, without his JMU players, and with continuous turnover but so far he’s been aces every single time.

I'm at the point now where I'm not quite as invested in college football as I used to be. Feels really stale now with all the changes. Doesn't help that we laid an egg at the end of the season.

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

That's the problem with the way Indy builds its team. They have to hit a home run in the portal every year to keep it up. Maybe success will help them draw more top-end HS players, but why would you commit to Indy when you might be sitting behind 24-year-old transfers your whole career?
