With all those reporters attending, did anyone of them interview the recruits? Or were the recruits sequestered so that the newsies couldn't get to them? Sounds like everyone had a bit of fun, and the non-football team got an up-close-and-personal look at the Buckeyes.
It doesn’t matter what region Michigan is in if they are on their A game. There is a reason Michigan has a chance to become the first team to have a 40+ rating in Kenpom since 2002. Their stats/metrics and results show this. Luck has nothing to do with it and comes a distant 4th compared to skill, execution, and coaching/preparation.
Their sweet 16 matchup was going to be a team rattled by a key player missing no matter who it eas and they got to play an ass Tennessee team in the elite 8 because the 2 seed Iowa State got slammed by injuries. I don't care what anyone says there is some luck in that

Well choking implies that you had a chance. They didn’t have a chance. Michigan was a bad matchup for them even though I think Arizona is a hell of a team. May using EC with the bigs at the top of the key was genius. It wasn’t that Arizona wasn’t playing defense. Michigan’s pg play and execution led to Michigan making it look easy. Michigan doesn’t really have many if any weaknesses on offense when they are clicking.

Just re-watched last years game. TTUN was such a soft team. Ohio State led most of the game. And as the weather got worse the good guys got better. We dominated both sides of the line because we were the most physical. Like I said, TTUN was soft and were shutout the entire 2nd half. They never came close to scoring. And their last Offensive play was an INT by Mr. Underwhelming! A soft and inferior team on every level. From the coaching staff to the water boys they were exposed. Then, their imposter of a coach was exposed for the fraud that he is.
It’s like that Simpsons scene “eat the pudding eat the pudding eat the pudding.” But in Scotty’s case it’s “hit the portal hit the portal hit the portal.”
They have by far the largest NIL pot. Some kids go there knowing they could be a paid backup. But the big names get a handsome payoff. Nobody is close to their NIL pool.
We had a chance at Dusty and Calipari. The former who actually wanted the job. I'm not his biggest fan but he would've brought some much needed energy to the program.
