WR Mylan Graham (National Champion, transfer to Notre Dame)

Notre Dame’s push for Mylan Graham

It was Matt Freeman of Irish Sports Daily who first reported that Notre Dame had made contact with Graham, and I can verify that is true. I was told previously that there was expected to be some interest in him, but there seems to be considerably more than just “some”. There are other programs, such as Louisville and Auburn are also very interested, but I am told that the Fighting Irish are in a good spot and are working to get Graham on campus.
The biggest potential hurdle for Notre Dame might be from Graham’s previous school, Ohio State. Their staff is still working to retain Graham, especially after also losing Quincy Porter to the portal as well. Without Brian Hartline a part of the program, that retention could prove difficult, but as we have all learned about the portal, money talks.

The first step is for Notre Dame to get Graham on campus. If they do, then we can have an honest conversation about where things stand. The vibes are, however, solid to kick off this second chance to recruit Graham.

WR Devin McCuin (Official Thread)

Ohio State football adds key transfer portal addition – and it had to happen due to a loss the Buckeyes just took

The Buckeyes just got a bit more explosive on offense with latest portal news.

McCuin was clocked running a 10.28 in the 100-meter in high school. He’s got big-time speed and athletic ability. After losing former five-star WR Quincy Porter to the portal this week, adding an immediate impact player at that position was a must. McCuin fits that category.

It will be intriguing to see how McCuin adapts to a clear uptick in competition, but his speed and overall profile play to any opponent or scheme. He will have one season of eligibility remaining. McCuin totaled 65 receptions, 726 yards, and eight touchdowns in 12 games this season at UTSA.

“Per Pro Football Focus’ grades, McCuin recorded an overall grade of 78.2 last season, which is considered well above average. He had a receiving overall grade of 79.5 and a 54.7 grade as a run blocker. At his size, McCuin could feasibly line up on the outside or in the slot for Ohio State next season.” — 247Sports
