He somehow even made it look slow because of his long smooth strides, but then the gap behind him would grow and grow. yeah....the only Buckeye close to Ginn level of speed after 20 yards was Parris Campbell...Joey Galloway as well. Come to think of, I can't think of many NFL players who were faster than Ginn....if any. Darrell Green ? Willie Gault? Jamaal Charles? I'm sure there are more but none showed it consistently in straight line like Ginn did. Elusiveness buys some speedsters space to run....Ginn was never elusive per se but just ran away from people. I wish I'd seen Bob Hayes and Paul Warfield in person to judge them more

Having a large alumni base is certainly an advantage, but I wonder what the Venn diagram between dues paying alumni and alumni that spend money on/donate money to the football program looks like for various universities. Are the dues paying alumni typically athletic department supporters, academic supporters, or both?

Come Sunday is the last chance to dance for Ohio State. Technically 1-10 vs quad 1 but no one is going to give them much credit for winning at Northwestern as their lone quad 1 win.

A MUST WIN vs Purdue. Lose this game and it is basically all but over.

Pretty much need to win out which will be really hard to do but that is the hole they dug themselves in.
