Not counting 2005 (assuming the "new rule" started with the ending of that game), Ohio State has lost to Penn State 3 times: 2008, 2011, and 2016.
I guess that would mean that Ohio State won in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. 17-3, if my counting is good.

Had it freshman year of high school and I had a mild case. A classmate picked it up the next year and was out of school for a couple of months. Let's hope if he has it he acquired the milder version, if there is such a thing.

Do believe he'll be OK. Watching JJ, not having otherworldly expectations put on his shoulders, and making freshman mistakes. Also, getting his feet wet, all will make him better. Not worried at all.

Unfortunately, the Buckeye writers puff up players, and those players don't produce as such on the field. There's always a reason why these portal players leave their teams.....Day (and Pantoni?) haven't made many killer NIL grabs as of late. Cannot decide whether they are poor judges of talent (not likely) or don't want to break the bank, and throw off the current NIL structure by paying big money. Guess kinda answered my own question.

Thought the jury-rigged OL did OK. Saw some of the vets let the DL run through them, but some of the cobbled pieces work well. Coaches can/will decide who gets the nod, and hope that the recovering players have their legs under them. Sayin isn't exactly a scrambler, his footspeed isn't heroic. Keep thinking it's taken this OL three years to 'get good', and have an eye on some of the young 'uns as tOSU loses a ton of talent on the OL, and am looking to see who's going to be mainstays next year. Yeah, know in my heart that next year will take care of itself, and that the writers puff up the incoming kids. If had a nickel for the articles that indicate that this guy's the next coming, would be a wealthy person.

Ohio State football has turned up the heat on flipping a Big Ten commitment at needed spot​

The Ohio State Buckeyes hosted a 2027 recruit committed elsewhere in the Big Ten over the weekend, and they’ve taken a key step in flipping him.

Ohio State offers Wisconsin RB commit Kingston Allen​

Allen is a 4-star running back in the 2027 class from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He’s been committed to Wisconsin since April, but he made the trip to Columbus for the Maryland game. Following the visit, he now has an official offer from the Buckeyes.

The offer itself is the notable part. Ohio State doesn’t extend an offer this late in a recruiting cycle without a reason. If the Buckeyes are offering now, they’re open to taking his commitment, and he’s clearly a player they want.

Allen checks in at 6-foot, 195 pounds. He’s ranked as the No. 18 running back in the class and the No. 238 player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.

This isn’t the same level of talent as Gabriel Georges. Still, you’re not going to find that kind of running back in the 2027 class outside of Gabriel Georges himself. Ohio State had to recalibrate after the summer, and Allen fits as a realistic target.

Kingston Allen’s recruitment has flown under the radar​

For a top-300 player, Allen’s recruitment hasn’t drawn much attention. His Big Ten offers come from Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Ohio State. Other than that, his offer sheet has stayed relatively quiet. Allen is the No. 18 running back in the class of 2027, per 247 Sports Composite.

He’s also still taking visits elsewhere, which signals he’s not totally locked in with the Badgers. Allen took a September visit to Minnesota before making the trip to Ohio State. Now it’s a matter of whether the Buckeyes decide to make a serious push here.

The production is hard to ignore. In 2025, Allen ran for 3,436 yards and a whopping 57 rushing touchdowns at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay. Numbers like that explain why Ohio State wanted to get him on campus for a gameday visit.

Flipping a commit away from a conference rival is never simple, and Wisconsin has had his pledge for six months. It won’t be easy, but the Buckeyes now have a foot in the door.

By all accounts, his gameday visit for the Maryland game went great. Whether Ohio State turns that visit into a commitment remains to be seen, and the coming weeks will be telling.

Geez well we need Phil back that’s for sure this week. We just have to find a way to steal this one if we aren’t going to be 100% up front.

Defense has to play lights out, need to force turnovers, need to stop the back breaking penalties, and need our special teams to just not be stupid.

Nebraska shut this team down for 3 quarters so it’s absolutely possible. But it has to be for 4 quarters this time.

Ryan Day Expects Most of Six Starters Who Missed Maryland Game to Return vs. Indiana​

Ohio State was without a half-dozen starters against Maryland, but Ryan Day expects most of them to be back against Indiana.

Wide receivers Brandon Inniss and Devin McCuin, offensive linemen Austin Siereveld and Phillip Daniels, linebacker Christian Alliegro and nickelback Jay Timmons all missed last weekend’s 45-16 win over Maryland.

During his appearance on the Buckeye Roundtable show on the Ohio State Sports Network on Monday, Day said he expects most of them – but not all of them – to be back in action this weekend as Ohio State travels to Indiana for a top-five matchup with the Hoosiers.

“I don't know if we'll get them all back, but I’m hoping to get the majority of these guys back. We'll see how they come in tomorrow,” Day said. “It was kind of a strange week, with some strange things, a few non-football-related issues that popped up. So we just had to manage it the best we could. But yeah, I don't think we'll get all of them back, but we should get a good portion of them back for Indiana.”

While Day didn’t specify on Monday who all he expected to return, the players most likely to be back against Indiana are presumably McCuin and Timmons. Both of them were listed as game-time decisions and went through partial warmups on Saturday before ultimately sitting the game out.

Day also said after Saturday’s game that he thought Daniels, who has been sidelined for the last four games by an injury he suffered against Texas, would be back for this week’s game against the Hoosiers.

“I think we can get Phil back. I think he'll have a full week of practice. That's the plan,” Day said. “I don't know if he would have been able to, if he was forced to play today ... if he could have done it if he had to, but it was close. I think we'll come in (Sunday), he'll be able to do everything tomorrow, hopefully have a full day Tuesday and be able to roll for next week.”

He started at Wisconsin. Went to the same high school as Curtis Samuel. Got a long look from Urban, but ultimately never got an offer.
