MLB General Discussion (Official Thread)

Every year we get some very unique baseball injuries.

Drones, tanning beds, washing cars….
The all time weird injury to me was Aaron Boone, after being a pariah for the Yankees all season he saves his position with the team with his HR against the Red Sox in game 7 of the ALCS only to hurt himself in the off season playing basketball and then getting replaced by ARod

2027 OH LB Brayton Feister (Verbal Offer)

According to Juck at BH, the Feisters are leaning towards Oregon and USC. Those 2 have made them both a massive priority, and it doesn't seem like JL thinks Brayton is a fit for the defense. Which means that Brydon is also looking at Oregon and USC
Twitter article stated Brayton had officials set up with Oregon and Georgia. USC was not mentioned. Visits to Auburn, Ol Miss and Notre Dame would put them in play but looks like USC is out.

Never fear, the sunshine pump squad is here.

Lol @ watching that Spring Game and concluding that Underwood has gotten "immensely better"

This cracked me up too

the verbiage is easier for the players to understand and learn from what it was under Sherrone Moore.

i love this behind the scenes stuff....so cool
Agreed. I have never seen a video like that. All those calls and moves and they almost run out of time to submit the pick but still get it in. Good stuff!

Jayden Fielding is getting a chance to play professional football.
The former Ohio State kicker signed with the Canadian Football League’s Ottawa Redblacks on Tuesday.

Fielding heads north of the border after going undrafted in the 2026 NFL draft.
In three years as Ohio State’s starting kicker, Fielding made 45 of 57 field goal attempts and 178 of 179 extra point attempts, finishing his career fifth in school history with 313 career points. His career was highlighted by the game-clinching kick in the 2024 national championship game, a 33-yard field goal to secure a 34-23 win over Notre Dame.
His career ended on a low note, however, as he missed the final two kicks of his Ohio State career, including a 27-yard kick with the game on the line in the fourth quarter of the Buckeyes’ 13-10 loss to Indiana in the 2025 Big Ten Championship Game. He never made a field goal of 50 yards or longer in his Ohio State career, though he demonstrated his leg strength at Ohio State’s pro day by making a 57-yard field goal.
