Both teams are playing hard. I will be pleasantly surprised if OSU has the stamina to keep up the whole game. They seem to wear down before the opponent, typically.

After watching our two 5* RFreshmen transferring out, force myself to remember that these kids have been idolized all their lives. Then getting elevated to a superior college team (tOSU), and riding the pine can be quite a blow to their egos. Also had been recruited by teams that guaranteed them playing time as freshmen, but opting to go to tOSU to learn, grow, and develop. Dunno, maybe the lure of big NIL $ changed their minds, or looking up and deciding that their path to starting was murky. Hard to say. And always a possibility that a player could be recruited over them further pushing them down the line-up. Wish tOSU would conduct exit interviews, and then publish them....

Well, tOSU's new OC is/was an OL coach, and they've just hired a new OL assistant that plyed his trade in the NFL. He filled the gap made when the other guy advanced to Arkansas OC (?). Sounds like we've got OL coaches galore, so certainly not berift of teaching tools....Plus Coach Mick tends to uncover the superman in a HS recruit.....

Not a good start. OSU let them blitz Bruce with 2 guys, got to make them pay for that.

Kinda wonder if NOT going after a top OT is a great plan, but see tOSU getting in on some 'high' 4* kids, planning on developing them to become elite. Given that that big kid from Rice finished his eligibility on our bench, and Felix Ojo (?) hasn't performed up to snuff, this might be a good strategy. Although do see some of the OTs we've whiffed on starting for their respective teams, don't really hear any accolades. But maybe not tuned in...anyway, does appear that tOSU has some talented individuals, hopefully can meld them into a OL powerhouse. Go Bucks!

This is the 4th consecutive Big Ten tournament with OSU and Iowa playing. OSU won the first 2 before losing last season.

No contact, play through it, ticky-tack, or body blows. Each crew decides the tempo. Had many a game where had three fouls before halftime.
