OK, I don't know a lot about college wrestling; however, I do know that Ohio State is ranked #2 behind #1 Penn State. In addition, Penn State has been a powerhouse in wrestling and won the NCAA Wrestling Championship the last 4 or 5 years. Just how big a gap is there between Ohio State and Penn State this year? Does Ohio State have any reasonable chance of beating Penn State this season? Or does the classic Larry Bird quote from back in the 80s apply to college wrestling this season?

36 years ago today, LARRY BIRD walked into the All-Star locker room and said: Who's coming in second? He backed up his trash-talking by winning his 3rd straight championship & putting his

WR Coach Cortez Hankton (Official Thread)

Say what you want about his personal life and dildoes, but Zach did a pretty damn good job with Zone 6. Some people seem to forget that Urban called the WR room a bunch of "chucklefucks" when he first got on campus. Zach sent a bunch of dudes to the league.
I think it was 'clown show' in public, but dollars to donuts, 'chucklefucks' was used behind closed doors.

RB Lamar "Bo" Jackson (All B1G)

Does tOSU understand the marke. It’s been two years and there isn’t a Judkins to lean on. I’d pay Jackson ..he was good as a freshman with a OL people feel now was substandard.

Pretty much have to pay him at this point or you risk a real dumpster fire in the running game next season. There's nobody in the portal left that's even equal to him to go get to replace him if you let him walk.

DE Chase Young (Nagurski, Hendricks, Bednarik, Silver Football, NFL DROY, New Orleans Saints)

The former Ohio State star and current New Orleans Saints defensive end dominated the final five weeks of the regular season, collecting 19 tackles, six tackles for loss, five sacks, two fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown) and a pass breakup. Young’s surge coincided with New Orleans winning four of its final five games to close the season at 6-11.

The 2025 campaign marked Young’s second season in the Big Easy, where he has rediscovered the drive and disruption that made him the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Across 29 appearances with the Saints, Young has recorded 69 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries (with one touchdown) and seven pass breakups.

Before arriving in New Orleans, Young spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Washington Commanders and a half-season with the San Francisco 49ers. He signed a three-year, $51 million contract with the Saints in March 2025, a deal that can reach $57 million with incentives.

Just sayin': Either...
1) It took him a couple years to adjust to the NFL,
2) He finally got on a team where he is a perfect fit",
or
3) He had some injury issues and he finally "got healthy".

Just read that Birm said his future could be in doubt. He’s asking for more than TreV made last season, allegedly.

2025 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

I hate Miami, but I hate the SEC more and would love to see a second year with them out of the final. The BCS format +Saban really rigged it in their favor. The 4 team playoff showed their weakness, but they still had Saban. The 12 team playoff is finally exposing them.
And that Saban thing no longer being a thing ....
