Technology Gone Wild: Rise of the Machines

Some days I get really impressed with AI. Then I get results like this from Google's AI Overview.

AI Overview

The last three years of the College Football Playoff (CFP) feature the expanded 12-team format (first played in 2024–25) and include the following national champions and notable results:

  • 2025–26 Season: Miami won the National Championship, defeating Indiana 27-21. Miami advanced by beating Ole Miss 31-27, while Indiana beat Oregon 56-22 in the semifinals.

Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Great news for Miami fans, at least per AI. This is what Google's AI Overview gave me when I did a search (I was trying to see how high an SEC team made it in the playoffs).

TN RB David Gabriel Georges (Tennessee Verbal)

I hope he does well in Knoxville. That being said, I would rather see that kind of money spent for a one year portal rental- if after this year Bo and West don't impress.

If you bring in a true freshman and he is making JJ Smith money, good luck filling out your RB room. A one year guy doesn't discourage recruits the same way being stuck behind a clear three year starter would.
A 1 year rental will probably be half of what he's rumored to be making

Exactly.

I'm going to guess at least 1 if not both "impress" this year though. They both flashed as true freshmen.

You still have Turbo, Bey and Favor who all have multiple years of eligibility as well

Then Elijah Newman-Hall incoming in next years class.

Even if they don't bring in a HS RB in this class, it's no big deal. There are plenty of options, and yea the portal is always one of them if they really need to go that route.
I'm very interested in seeing what Bo and West bring in year two. I know that injuries and a fairly pedestrian run scheme didn't help last year.

2026 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters "Mid"chigan

The comical contrast by the media when it comes to Tat Gate and scUMs cheating is pretty disgusting

A lot of the narrative was that Ohio State should get some form of death penalty. Meanwhile when it comes to scUMs cheating it has mostly been laughed off as "no big deal" and they constantly go out of their way not to talk about it as much as possible and only fluff up Michigan.
