Zwick vs. Smith (official thread)

Arent you failing to quote the other things I just restated. Oh, that would just make your personal attack on me motivated by something else. because your comments have zero substance.

I'm out for the month so keep your reply punk ! see ya

I though Zwick look pretty good for a New starting QB. 213 Yards is pretty impressive. 2 INt and the fumbles were not. I really didn't see enough of Smith to Judge him. I was a little disapointed that he didn't run for more yards.

What a shame........

Quit while you are behind.

By the way, JT commended Zwick for being composed and in command.
sounds like your comments (composure) about him being nervous and shakey doesn't hold a lot of water, does it?

for zwick's first start i thought he did very well! He spread the ball around nicely to the receivers and those 2 ints were more unlucky than bad reads. Of course there's going to be bumps along the way but he showed he has the tools to be a prolific passer.
Also, I thought Zwick was the one who opened up the run game. Just some food for thought.

Here's a thought Ashland, why don't you take your act back to Bustnuts. I'm sure they'd love your "insight" into how 4 drops, and two interceptions isn't an issue. :roll1: I come here to read the insight of posters that I respect, not the rantings of some cheap, wannabe tibor.

I thought Zwick looked about as nervous as expected. I wasn't too surprised with the muffed snap and the wobbly balls, and all-in-all, he looked good, esp that pass to Holmes over the middle to start the 3rd quarter. Smith's performance was really good too, for as liitle as there was. Like many posters have mentinoed, I feel really good having him as a backup - though I think he could hold his own as the starter. Just me $.02 - go easy, Ash :p

I liked zwick a lot, of course there were some issues its his first game, I am thrilled with the potential. Smith didnt get many oppurtunities but he did make good on his oppurtunity. Relax ash, ur attacks on ant almost sound more like a refusal to accept smith than defending of zwick, i know you mean well but i dont think he was attacking zwick, keep cool.

C'mon Soldier.....This dumbass said Smith looked better.
I think Smith did a fine job. I think he should continue to play.
I also said you can't grade him after three series and three passes.
You especially can't say he looked better.

JT will give both Qb's a chance to shine. Whichever one brings Ohio a victory over scum and a bowl win is fine with me.
Just don't try to sell me bullshit analysis after a Qb plays less then a quarter and throws three passes.
That's the kind of bullshit we saw over at BN

   Oh yeah, you're right. Based on Zwick’s performance today the Heisman is in the bag. He wasn't throwing ducks, interceptions, dropping the ball four times, or making any rookie mistakes. His game was absolute perfection. Anyone who disagrees must be an uninformed dumb ass (bye the way dumb ass is two words, but you knew that, right). To say that Zwick, while playing an overall good game, made mistakes that could be attributed to first game nerves is ridiculous (and that's being nice). Also, it is perfectly okay to resort to cheap name calling tactics when trying to get your point across. After all, say it loud enough and long enough and it becomes true, right? If somebody even attempts to engage in civil debate they should be given a thorough tongue lashing. After all the point of this board isn't for people to actively engage in conversation, sharing a wide variety of opinions. It’s for jack booted thugs to shout down anyone who disagrees with them.

If you can't answer a man's argument, all is not lost; you can still call him vile names.

I never suggested any of this.....

I was wrong. You obviously have quite an imagination as well as being quite emotional.
Glad to see you embracing logic and facts.

Keep typing there Can'tstate.
