In their last three wins, the Tribe has won the game in their last at bat.

Team of destiny?

Cue the goats....

Not in August. Grinding in August. Which is what we need.

Anyway, good series against a decent team. Basically even with the Rangers.

Still, the most important thing is keeping the Kitties at arm's length and get to a place in a couple weeks where Tito can get things set up the way he wants and see if Callaway can get Danny's head sorted out. While it doesn't seem like he's hurt, whatever they need have him pitch at Akron, whatever... we're gonna need him in reasonable repair.

I think right now I may be more worried about KC continuing to catch fire than Detroit. The Royals are now only 1 game behind Detroit and their schedule is pretty favorable down the stretch, 17 games vs teams under .500 plus they get to go head to head with the Indians and Tigers 6 times each

"get to" -- yeah, I tend to think by the time most of that goes down the Royals and Tigers will be duking it out for the wild card, the did just sweep the Tiggers, but they've been fattening up on the Twins otherwise (and the white sox before that) (yes, I know, we can't beat them but their record sucks so someone must be)... plus 17 out of 37 against under .500 teams doesn't seem overly lopsided... they have the Marlins, Red Sox, Yankees and then the Tigers again coming up... if they keep rolling, I guess I'll worry "more" and they are only one game behind the Tigers, so, they could be as close or closer soon... they'll get more Sox, and Twins at the end, but see where they are then.
