YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

"get to" -- yeah, I tend to think by the time most of that goes down the Royals and Tigers will be duking it out for the wild card, the did just sweep the Tiggers, but they've been fattening up on the Twins otherwise (and the white sox before that) (yes, I know, we can't beat them but their record sucks so someone must be)... plus 17 out of 37 against under .500 teams doesn't seem overly lopsided... they have the Marlins, Red Sox, Yankees and then the Tigers again coming up... if they keep rolling, I guess I'll worry "more" and they are only one game behind the Tigers, so, they could be as close or closer soon... they'll get more Sox, and Twins at the end, but see where they are then.

The last 2 1/2 weeks of the season worries me if we arent able to build up a pretty good lead by then, 13 of the final 16 games against Detroit/KC, thats where one of those teams likely makes their run at the division if they are close enough to still do it.

Yeah, but it won't be both, so... we'll see where it is then I guess.

Santana solo HR is the only run of the night, thats all they needed though. Carrasco 8 shutout innings and Andrew Miller strikes out the side in the 9th.

Good deal, I fell asleep, cuz I'm old and stuff.

Thank goodness Francona had enough brains to put in Miller instead of Allen in the ninth because I would not have woken me up from a sound sleep. After 5 innings I knew this game was going to be a very low-scoring affair and that put me right to sleep.
I guess we get to see if Salazar's head is on straight or whatever tonight.

Hopefully they continue to use him in the 9th. From the point of pure dominance he is by far our best reliever.

I don't expect much from Salazar, hopefully he can at least get to the 5th inning tonight though. Maybe that odd mid game bullpen session worked some voodoo magic.
