YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

And carrasco was fine in July, so... not great. At any rate yeah, I still think if they get to the end of the month with a similar situation to now, they'll he fine. And the tigers aren't awesome by any means so that helps. More concerned about at least one other guy rolling into October. Klubers been great, last start didn't have great stuff but worked through it.

The next 10 games are pretty crucial, IMO. They play 7 games against first place teams (3 vs Toronto and 4 vs Texas) with 3 against the A's (who they should win no less then 2 against)

Theyve got to start performing better against better teams, now is the time.

The good thing is they play 20 of the remaining against the White Sox/Tigers/Royals, who they have been able to beat consistently this year.

Yeah, would be nice to see against good teams but the other side of that they're not division games so... if it goes bad still not a catastrophe. Honestly as long as they win the division beating them in October is all that matters.

April games do count, though, just so we are clear.

This is true, getting to the playoffs is all that matters, I believe they went 0-6 against the Yankees in the regular season in 2007 and then beat them in the playoffs.....though it would be nice to have home field throughout. Which is why it would be awesome to take 3/4 or at least split in Texas.

We'll say Cherries on top. They don't have LeBron James.

Can LeBron James hit a curveball?

In their past 13 games, Cleveland is 8-5, and their overall record is now 69-50 (.580).

In their past 13 games, Detroit is 5-8, and their overall record is now 64-57 (.529).

The Indians need to go 21-22 (.488) to reach the 90-72 mark.

The Tigers need to go 26-15 (.634) to reach the 90-72 mark.

With 73.5% of the season reporting, I'm going to call this race for the Tribe.
Damn you.

First walk off inside the park HR since 1916! Some things you just don't see too often.

Im gonna venture to at least guess that a HR in the 9th to tie the gane followed by a walkoff inside the park HR has never happened before.

Has a walkoff inside the park HR even happened? If it has im sure its very few.
