YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

Salazar gone, they said he went to the locker room. Is he really hurt, or is this a case of Fausto Carmona headcase syndrome?

Also, Santana led off the 2nd with a single, Ramirez promptly grounded into a double play. This game is going about as bad as it could at the moment

The Indians need to go 29-27 (.518) to reach the 90-72 mark.

The Tigers need to go 31-23 (.574) to reach the 90-72 mark.
In their past 13 games, Cleveland is 8-5, and their overall record is now 69-50 (.580).

In their past 13 games, Detroit is 5-8, and their overall record is now 64-57 (.529).

The Indians need to go 21-22 (.488) to reach the 90-72 mark.

The Tigers need to go 26-15 (.634) to reach the 90-72 mark.

With 73.5% of the season reporting, I'm going to call this race for the Tribe.

Salazar just pitched a grand total of one inning, Tomlin has made his late-season transition to McFastball, Bauer can only unfuck himself every third or fourth start, and they still have to play the Blue Jays, Rangers, Kryptonite (er, Twins, twice), and 7 games against Detroit, 4 of them away.

You sure about that, Clark?

I'd say anything we get from Salazar the rest of the season is a bonus. He's head fucked with mechanical issues. The velocity is still there but he cant hit the strike zone to save his life.

Starting pitching since July 1.....

Salazar: 1-1, 8.64 ERA, .333 BAA, 2.45 K/BB, 9.7 K/9

Bauer: 2-3, 6.50 ERA, .286 BAA, 1.40 K/BB, 7.0 K/9

Tomlin: 2-5, 6.26 ERA, .291 BAA, 4.57 K/BB, 6.9 K/9

Carrasco: 4-4, 4.27 ERA, .230 BAA, 3.47 K/BB, 8.9 K/9

Kluber: 5-1, 2.41 ERA, .232 BAA, 3.53 K/BB, 9.1 K/9

Basically it's been garbage with Kluber being the only one maintaining consistency. Good thing the offense has been much better then expected.

And carrasco was fine in July, so... not great. At any rate yeah, I still think if they get to the end of the month with a similar situation to now, they'll he fine. And the tigers aren't awesome by any means so that helps. More concerned about at least one other guy rolling into October. Klubers been great, last start didn't have great stuff but worked through it.
