KingLeon;1886490; said:WTF are you talking about? First of all, learn how to spell. Concidered? Second of all, where did I say it wasn't an offense? I'm saying that there is much worse going on in other places.
Reading comprehension: get some of it.

MaxBuck;1886503; said:Sorry, but I've heard no credible evidence that Tressel is on the juice. So I have to call bull[Mark May] on this one.

JT was informed that he had players that had probably committed NCAA violations, and didn't tell anybody. He committed an NCAA violation by not reporting it, and deserves to be penalized, but he wasn't trying to cover up his own cheating and asking others to help him in doing so.
Both situations involve not being forthcoming to the NCAA, but they are significantly different to me.

alexhortdog95;1886495; said:LOL - yes sir.
I agree with you. There are more serious offenses going on in other places.
BUT...
Pointing the finger at other people when you're possibly in trouble is, quite frankly, school yard.
Did I spell that correc-t-leeeee? LOL
KingLeon;1886543; said:Yes you did
It is the truth though. I'm not saying "oh we shouldn't be in trouble" because we should.
But to tell the truth I don't even care that we're in trouble. I don't think what we did was all that bad, I lost a little (tiny bit) respect for Tressel but who am I to judge him, he's still a great man. I could only dream of becoming as good of a person as him. If, at the end of the day, lying about this was the biggest mistake I made, then I'd be thrilled with the life I live. Lastly, we will be fine. We are Ohio State. We have a great program, a great coach, and great fans. Our program is CLEAN (besides this). Any negative attention that our program gets is because of outside people and young, naive players. There is nothing to be ashamed of.
So honestly, I don't even care. Fuck it. Everyone will try to talk shit, but we're still the best. What they think doesn't even matter, and will matter even less when we bring home a National Championship in the near future.
Go Bucks.
Radio report out of Cincy claiming the reason Tressel & company were so vague was per request of the FBI to not comment publically on the tattoo parlor owner's case with the current investigation going on. I so want to believe this is true but we'll have to wait & see.

alexhortdog95;1886566; said:Ugh....somebody PLEASE tell me he didn't say this:
"But Tressel said that as he addressed his players after their 6 a.m. workout yesterday to alert them, he wasn't seeking sympathy. He said
he left by paraphrasing a quote from former President George W. Bush:
'The most pathetic thing is a leader who is looking for self-pity,' Tressel said."
Of all the people, in a time like this, that you don't want to quote....LOL
