Instead of continually the fight, I just shut em up with, "Well, at least we WIN when we cheat."

Sources: Former Ohio State football player tipped Tressel to player investigation
A former Ohio State University football player has been identified as the lawyer who sent e-mails to coach Jim Tressel warning that some players were selling memorabilia to a tattoo-parlor owner under federal investigation.
Three sources confirmed to the Dispatch that the e-mails sent to Tressel - which he failed to disclose, leading to his proposed two-game suspension and a $250,000 fine - were written by Columbus lawyer Christopher T. Cicero.
Cicero lettered in football at Ohio State in 1983, when Tressel was a first-year assistant coach under head coach Earle Bruce. Cicero apparently was a walk-on linebacker who did not command significant playing time.
Cicero, 54, could not immediately be reached for comment. He earned his law degree at the University of Toledo College of Law after graduating from Ohio State.
The e-mails between Cicero and Tressel, which were chummy in tone, were redacted by Ohio State officials to protect the lawyer's identity as well as the names of the football players. However, there is no exception in the state's public-record law that allowed Ohio State to withhold his name.
Cicero has a checkered history as a lawyer.

"I used to live about an hours drive from Auburn. It is a really cool college town. The usual mix of chain and sole proprietor restaurants, shopping, bars etc.
My wife is a professor of English and we liked it enough that she applied and interviewed there before we moved to within two counties of State Penn."

I'm so sick of it and only it's been one day. Turned the radio off, told the scUMers to f off and tried to work. This is worse than losing a NC game.
I did wear my S&G colors into work today - sort of flying in their faces.

Chris Cicero was a Marine for four years, while our Cicero lived in Georgia for four years, about an hour from Auburn. That fits Columbus, GA/Fort Benning, which is Army, not Marines.
Our Cicero also said that he and his wife moved to two counties away from Penn State, while it appears that Chris Cicero has lived in Columbus, OH since returning from the Marines in 1979.
Sorry to burst anyone's dreams of becoming a vPitchfork and vTorch tycoon.

I was overwhelmed with the fact that so many scUM fans and, to a lesser extent, Mike Valenti of 97.1, have been filling up with rage, overflowing with anger, overdosing on losing to Tressel for 9 out of the last 10 years. This was an outlet for them all today.
Put another way, they defined themselves today by how much they hate OSU, not how much they love Michigan or Michigan State.
It was pathetic. I told a good friend scUM grad, "you'll really be mad in 30 days when no-one is talking about this. And, no matter who is coaching the team, in November you can be assured that the Buckeyes are going to smother the Wolverines."
I also point out to them that even Brady Hoke said hey, Tress is a good man.
My screen background today was an ozone picture of the OSU students holding up the "Deal With It" towels. I think I may just leave that up permanently.
i'm going to call the Ann Arbor radio station after the OSU/scUM game this year and ask them if they can replay their broadcast from this morning. They were just seething with righteous indignation.
Seriously, compare that to the typical Buckeye fan reaction to scUM's excess practice time violation?? Most of us thought it was chicken crap.
