FWIW, we talked with a USC blogger about the Trojans experience with the NCAA hearing.

Just so you know...

A) He's as biased as we are, but not interested in seeing OSU get hammered, just in consistency
B) He thinks the NCAA is corrupt and USC got screwed
C) If he's correct about some of the things that happened in the SC hearing/deliberation, Buckeye fans may not want to get comfortable for the next 6-8 weeks.
D) Oh, and the NCAA needs to be nuked.

I think the difference is that there is an 180 degree difference in the level of cooperation between USC and OSU. USC fought them tooth and nail the whole time.

For all the knocks about your AD, he is a former NCAA goon, I would think he has friends, knows how to work the system and the best way to go about it.

I'm hopeful you guys don't get buttsecksed into Bolivia.

I'm pretty sure the university self-reported that he made money. The problem seems to be whether he does, in fact, have a tattoo of the William Oxley Library on his ass. If that's true, I don't care if we get the death penalty.

Hey, Charlie "Tuna" Weis walked away with a cool $8 mil, and didn't have to work a day....plus his salary for 3 years, he's around $12 mil, so he's over half of Tress, and only worked 3 years, whereas Tress toiled for ten years for his money.....

Maybe the NCAA is investigating the wrong blokes?
