Seriously, if SI goes to Bowling F'N Green for a few weeks they'll find violations like this. Hell, head to Capital down the road and see if athletes get favors.

Bottom line.. A college football coach makes several million dollars per year. That's in line with CEO's, CFO's, and other top tier executives. If you think that someone making that much money can get there and stay there by being a nice guy and not taking part in some moral compromises you're either a believer in Santa or 35 years old asking people what they want to drink with their order.

Did anyone really think that JT was a priest all of the time?

Just a hunch, but I think this thing is going to get REALLY bad. I'm basically a positive person, but I see no positives here. Coach Hayes being dismissed in 1978 to me, was the darkest day in TOSU football history. This could end up being a real close #2. I sure as heck hope not.

Urban Meyer? C'Mon Down?

From the get-go this situation was destined to be what it ultimately turned out to be. I take back my original sentiment that this would be a "close #2."
Coach Hayes Clocked a kid on TV, no hiding behind that one. The fact that Coach Tressel didn't tell the entire truth as he knew it to be is what puts this one at #1.

This whole scenario is devastating to me. I will never make a negative post about this man. He gave his heart and soul to this team and to this University. I've never stated that Coach Tressel was the best Coach in CFB, but have aways felt that he was the best man on the planet to Coach TOSU football.

Thanks to Coach for all that he not ony brought to, but gave to this University.

Peace, and God bless out former Coach and his family.:oh:

I feel that we all are arguing semantics at this point. What is going to happen is going to happen. What happened (or should have) at Auburn has happened, and so on. The floodgates have opened on the Ohio State program. The captain of our ship has resigned. What's left standing are a few firstmates, a lot of supporters, and many more naysayers. The bandwagon has been depleted. The nation is against us. As Clarity said in a previous post, it's time to band together. Let's take our looming punishment like civilized fans, and start plotting our return to the top. Sometimes it's a lot more entertaining to be a fan when the bandwagon is empty and all that is left are the die hards. I think that's where were heading....

We need a vocal leader. It's time to hear Luke in front of a mic.

There will definitely be no bandwagon after this...look how many USC and Florida State T-shirts are now in the back of a closet.

Lying to the NCAA is worse than punching a kid in your book? Did I read that right?
