if pryor is getting killed on twitter, then so should the other 4 players that were with him at the podium that also got suspended for 5 games

Most of the people who would be on twitter right now doing such things probably couldn't name the other 4 players.

Loyalty is a great quality. Blind loyalty is naive. It is not disloyal to recognize the difference.
Using a horrendous and heart-wrenching day like today as a platform to get one more shot in at folks (for rationalizing or being too loyal) is quite bush league.

A beloved man, leader and coach has been tarred, feathered and sent home in humiliation. Show a little freaking respect.

If not for him then for the droves of players, alumni, fans and communities who did nothing to earn this shame and heartache.

I like Buckyle was going to hang on till it was over (I never thought Tress was a saint by the way)....I defended Coop and Im not kidding untill he was gone and I will support LF now....if this has been a facade then I will have less of a problem with coach Tress being gone.....im not talking about the 10.1 violation either.....I never deemed that as damnation to his character because I didnt know all the circumstances around why he did what he did

I may be speaking for myself, I may be speaking for A LOT more. But I think everyone (including myself) are very worked up over the recent news. I haven't changed my tone toward the corrupt issues of the NCAA, but everyone handles bad news differently. Lashing out in frustration is to be expected, sure it's out of line, but eh. I'm just fucking furious. Aside from game days, this is one of the earliest days I've started drinking. (Should be a real mess on Battlefield later )

I get that and I'm not asking people not to be furious. But there's more than enough to be upset about already without tossing "see that WAS stupid of you" gasoline onto the forest fire.

If I can help it, not a single ESPN radio station will be playing in any car I ride in unless it is a local sports team playing.

Good luck with that... Any local team and you know what all the talk will be about. ESPN has agenda's, and they beat those agenda's into your fucking head until you can't take it anymore. I gave up on them around when the Brett Favre saga came about. (the first time around, that is)

Thankfully I live in a small enough city where the affiliation is in name and national shows only. The local teams are covered by local broadcasters, and thankfully they all seem to be good enough at what they do to not bring all that kind of extra shit in during the games. I still won't listen to the talk shows, they're only a little bit more tolerable than the national level crap.

Consider yourself lucky then.
