That's a good premise to live by.... Then again how prevelant was tattoos and cars in college football back then??
Oh, a dime a dozen. At least at your successful programs.

My chief problem was that the Lincoln administration allocated ZERO dollars to tanks, air planes and so on. He was seriously soft on national defense.

Certainly no Millard Fillmore.

The god damned, lazy payrolled streets and san workers making 85K a year to sit in the truck half the day while [[allegedly]] putting in ADA compliant curbs in front of my house are lazy fucking hicks, and they've probably never left the city of Chicago.

They really should force the concrete to dry quicker with their laser vision. Or maybe they could just leave and come back to finish the 'crete later, since I'm sure no non-hick chicago aristocrats would happen by and write their name in it.

You have no frame of reference, Donny. One guy gets paid 90K a year just to drive the other three to and from the work site. It was exposed in one of the papers recently. He sits in the fucking truck all day. All fucking day! This isn't some job that Joe Chicagoan can actually apply for; it's payrolled out to some guy connected to an alderman. Now consider that the fucking curb was already ADA compliant and in great shape to begin with. This was just an unnecessary make work project for a bunch of connected payrolled big city hicks. Part of the $100MM "corruption tax" that we pay every year in Chicago.

So, I'm more than willing to nail my own city too for its shortcomings.

Look up the word hick. Then maybe you'd understand my confusion at you using it to describe lawyers and such. If I want to call all short people potatoes, I can, but I shouldn't expect you to know what the fuck I was talking about.

But so I'm clear...paying 23 year old football players = Cosmopolitan...paying 18-22 year old football players = hickish?

Well you high fallutin city slicker...............I would agree that after 2002 a lot of WT jumped on the bandwagon and there is nothing worse than semi wealthy WT like maybe someone who would own a car lot. But that is not all of Columbus it is a small destructive part that wore Michigan shirts 15 years ago...best news so far is those folks will be going away

I would also like to add they were the problem at the Texas game

Back to my original point, it's more like this.

Having only a tiny portion of your populace put the 23+ year old football players in your town up on any kind of pedestal = Cosmopolitan.

Having a large portion of your populace put the 18 to 22 year old football players in your town on a pedestal while having the local media obsess about their program 24/7/365 = quite hickish.

Although, I must add that having the Dispatch (and other local media outlets) being bashed for not being appropriately all-in for JT and the program is refreshingly non-hickish of Columbus. Perhaps the city is getting all growsed up.

A Cosmopolitan is vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice.

I think a hick comes from a still.

So your definition of hicks are people who don't live life the way you think they should?

p.s. It's good to know folks didn't put Jordan or Payton on a pedestal, or got hung up on Cutler's health.

Large portion? These guys aren't getting paid by a large portions. So far, the only thing for sure I've heard is one douchebag drug dealing tattoo guy.

The local paper is "obsessed" with tOSU because we don't have mobsters in office, shitty deep dish pizza, or shitty pro teams to talk about like you Chicagoans.

Ohio State football has been played longer than your pro team has been playing. The Game goes back farther than the first World fucking Series. So get the fuck off your high horse about Ohioans loving something that we grew up with for generations. What should we be doing with our time, ORD? Tell us. I'm listening. What would make us not be hicks? I've never given a dime to a Buckeye, despite spending plenty of money on merchandise. Funny, that.

Now you've crossed the line, hick!
