I setup my PS3 to stream HD video, from my computer to my TV, several months ago, and ended up just moving back to the room with the router because of the piss poor performance. That could be due to two reasons though.BrutuStrength;1576880; said:Nice. After seeing all of the new blu-ray players coming out that stream Netflix out of the box, I figured it was just a matter of time. I didn't want to have to buy a wireless adapter for my 360 and then have to move it to our living room just to try this (especially when I already have a PS3 in that room). I will likely have to get a Netflix subscription once this starts.
Good to know. I guess I'll have to drill another hole through the floor yet. I was hoping to avoid that.IronBuckI;1577069; said:I setup my PS3 to stream HD video, from my computer to my TV, several months ago, and ended up just moving back to the room with the router because of the [censored] poor performance. Probably both, but this thread on AVSforums.com says that playing HD content on ANY wireless is going to cause some headaches.
- PS3 only uses 802.11g, or lower, for wireless and that's not good enough for HD streaming.
- My Linksys router is crap when it comes to wireless internet.
