Aqib Talib fined for WWE-style elbow

Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib briefly confused the NFL for the WWE on Sunday, and he’s paying the price.

The NFL has fined Talib $8,268 for unnecessary roughness against the Seahawks.

The incident in question came late in the fourth quarter, with the Seahawks driving in Broncos territory. After a play, Talib dropped the People’s Elbow on a Seahawks player. Talib also got a 15-yard penalty.

Vince McMahon may have liked that. Roger Goodell did not.:rofl:

Hulk Hogan training in hopes of final match at Wrestlemania

After nine back surgeries, 61-year-old Hulk Hogan said his weight is down, and he's been training in hopes of a final match next year at Wrestlemania 31.

Hogan spoke to Chuck Carroll and told the host that all he needs is approval from WWE's Vince McMahon and Triple H to make it a reality at the new Levi's Stadium next March.

“At the end of the day, it's me getting Vince's ear, and me getting in Triple H's ear, and talking to them into letting me rock the house one more time,” Hogan said. “[John] Cena would be the guy I'd love to get in the ring with, you know, if I could irritate Stone Cold so much he'd come out of retirement, I'd love to have him open a can of whoop ass on me and see what happens.”

After his sixth back surgery, doctors told Hogan that he'd never walk again, but since then – three surgeries later -- he's cut down on his eating and begun training.

“My back's cool. I never dreamed that if we were to digress and wind backward almost three and a half years ago when I was sitting in a wheelchair after back surgery number six, the doctors told me and my new wife I'd never walk again,” Hogan said. “After three more back surgeries, I was up on my feet moving around.”

WWE Rumors: Sting Expected To Face Undertaker At WrestleMania 31

According to a report from PWMania, tonight will be the beginning of the setup of a Sting vs Undertaker feud, that will culminate on the biggest stage possible, at WrestleMania 31.

Sting will not be wrestling tonight. The unveiling is planned as the start of a new storyline for Sting that will see him wrestle for the first time ever in a WWE ring. The belief is that match will be at WrestleMania 31 against The Undertaker.
In news related to this, it seems as if Undertaker feels that he can go for one more Mania match, despite his loss to Brock Lesnar at this past year’s event and the health issues he faced during and after the bout.

So, now we know what direction they are headed in with the Sting character.
