I don't know. Maybe with Heyman on the mic backing him Brock can take advantage of beating the Streak, but I think it would have been more beneficial to an up and coming heel that can speak on the mic. I don't think Brock needed it. He was over before he left the company, he had a short but successful run in MMA, and he's got Heyman. Brock's only weakness is the fact he has no charisma, none. He's an absolute beast, he's a tremendous technical wrestler based on his previous amateur success, but he's just never been very good on the mic. Beating Taker's Streak doesn't change that, it's just another note on a resume of Superstars he's dismantled.
It would have been perfect if this was 2002 and Brock was a full time wrestler. They wasted it because they had one part-timer win after several part-timers lost. CM Punk would have been better for that reason, but then again he walked out, so maybe not. Problem is no one else on the roster was ready. Roman Reigns, Wyatt are too young. Batista's return was a total dud. Randy Orton is getting X-Pac heat. And they may have driven away all the male fans permanently if John Cena did it. No one else has the star power or "it" factor.

Honestly, the matches with HBK and HHH I thought were amazing because I honestly thought one of them would be the one to break it. That's what made all the near falls so amazing.

Losing to Brock was nothing more than shock value. The best option would have been losing to CM Punk last year when Punk was on top of the world.

I watched the first two HBK matches with Taker, but I knew what the result would be. It didn't help that there were rumors circling about his retirement. When HBK failed, there was a small bit of me that wondered if Taker would drop one to HHH in that first match. I didn't even order the PPV, I just watched it online later, and it left disappointment. I didn't even watch the rematch, I just read the results and laughed. Predictability kills the entertainment for me, and there was nothing more predictable than Taker winning at Wrestlemania. Now that Taker actually lost, it makes me want to watch the match and see how it happened.

Maybe Taker is done, maybe he isn't. If you ask me, the Streak finally ending is the best thing to happen to him in awhile. Now theres no more question "Will this be the year?" They can move onto a new storyline. Of course if he wrestles again, the storyline will probably be "He's mortal, he can be beaten, how will he respond?" Still, I'd rather have that and know that theres ACTUALLY a possibility they'll let him lose. Maybe he never loses another WM, but at least I know the result is no longer a foregone conclusion.

Taker is done - he's been done for more than 2 years now. There's a reason guys like Ric Flair are absolute freaks of nature well into their 50s and why guys like Mick Foley break down in their 30s. Wrestling is hard on the joints and the spine. Taker was able to wrestle well into his 40s before he started to lose it. That's more than a lot of those guys can say.

I'm interested to see the direction of the PPV's/Specials in the future now with the Network and if it affects them at all, i.e. scheduling. Would they do a main event of Bryan/Shield Vs. Evolution thus not putting up the WWE title or no?

Really, really hoping Big E drops his belt soon and they can unify the US & Intercontinental. I miss the old days of World Heavyweight Title, Intercontinental, Tag Team and then some form of European/Cruiserweight title for the high flyers although I can see less of a need for that nowadays with the pull away from the giant guys having all the titles.

Regarding The Undertaker's Streak ending, a major misconception has been that it was Taker's call to end it. It is almost surely true that if he didn’t want to have it ended, he could have put up a fight and it most likely would not have happened, so to an extent, that is true.

However, Taker was scheduled to win until some point a few days before the match when Vince McMahon changed his mind, based on Taker's physical condition and the feeling that there was a good chance this was his last match.

As far as Undertaker’s reaction when Vince suggested it, only he and McMahon know for sure. One friend of Taker's said he was talked into it while another person very close to the situation said that Taker didn’t argue the decision.

Didn't catch it but read Seth Rollins went to the dark side, aka Evolution. Should add some good intrigue and build up to Summer Slam?
My guess is it will fall flat and crash with a thud. The Shield was the hottest thing going right now...so naturally, like every team that's gotten hot over the last 15 years, they immediately broke it up. Just because guys are ready for singles careers doesn't mean teams with mega heat need to end. The Horsemen never had trouble being successful individually or as tag teams. Same for the NWO. Or Evolution for that matter. They do the same shit every time.
