Honestly, this is the type of recruit that Urban just does not lose out on. Him, Sweat and Harris are guys that I am growing more confident in as this goes.

I have my suspicions on whether Gibson can be an effective passing Qb but I do feel he can be a situational qb that can do well in a number of positions within our offense.

While I would not get too excited yet, I can say for a fact that we were the firm leader for awhile, the staff backed off some, and that is when Gibson started listing everyone else as his leader. It seems we have more than rectified the situation and TG knows he fits like a glove in UFM's offense. If UFM and the Dream 15 knock the doors down (I think they will no doubt), I see OSU winning this one. And really, TG is the perfect addition as a 2nd QB because if he does not work out at QB, he could be an elite WR even though he does not want to play there. I will not call it already but this is not some fleeting feeling he has.

Agreed. It's so funny to me how many people want to say they don't trust his interest in tOSU for a variety of reasons, that he is fickle, likes the attention, etc. The kid just drove himself 1100 miles to camp on his own dime. What else does he need to do to show his interest in the program for crying out loud?

I think you are misinterpreting people's apprehension about this recruitment. I don't think Stacy Elliot was talking to him about football.

I get what your saying and I respect Stacy for having that talk if that's what went down. Regardless, some feel he may come across as playing the recruiting game and his interest in _______ (insert school) is fickle. I was just saying that his personal sacrifice to make it to C-Bus this weekend speaks volumes to me about his view of tOSU.

It has nothing to do with whether or not his interest in a school is sincere. It's about whether or not he will be inclined to participate in activities that will get non-SEC schools sanctioned by the NCAA.

Again, I get what you are saying. Not sure why you don't think I do, but trust me.... I hear you. I'm acknowledging that. I'm just adding that in addition to what you are alluding to, his rotating top 7, top 15, whatever you call it flavor of the month club has caused many people to question HIS true interest in a school. The two issues aren't mutually exclusive.

Put it this way. If you are a member of another fan base, say Auburn or Tenn and you watched his video from last night about OSU fans being happy with his updated list, would you feel like you were in good shape to land him? It's game on and Urb loves games. Checkers, Ping Pong, etc.
