This is why we don't use Twitter for player threads at BP. Be careful what you post. I realize that Torrance refuted the information and it appears to be "no harm no foul" but one of the mods might be speaking up in a second or two.

247 $ - Final seven, co-leaders for Gibson

5/29; By Bartow

Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Miami & UCF (in order with Tenn/Auburn tied at #1). Now says he'll take an official to Ohio State in the fall (no mention of a summer visit) and that he hasn't talked to Coach Herman in a while.

Torrance Gibson rearranges his top seven after Tennessee visit, drops Ohio State to last: Buckeyes recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four-star quarterback Torrance Gibson recently rearranged his top seven after taking a visit to Tennessee this week.

But the visit has nothing to do with Ohio State's new spot.

Here's the new list, in order: Tennesse, Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Central Florida, Miami (Fla.) and Ohio State.

So why are the Buckeyes, once one of Gibson's top schools, at the bottom of his list all of a sudden?

"I don't know - I am not even sure," Gibson told cleveland.com in a phone interview Thursday evening. "They are just dropping right now because a lot of coaches have been in contact with me, and I haven't been in contact with any of their coaches since I don't know when."

Contd...

I posted this in the Waller thread awhile ago:

So Ohio State has seemingly moved on?

Possibly looking at adding Torrance Gibson (whose recruitment has seemingly cooled significantly from Ohio State's end- possibly due to off field concerns) or nothing at this point unless someone else emerges during camps over the next several weeks.

The fact that Gibson isn't even talking about visiting OSU over the spring/summer anymore after months of doing so tells me that something changed in his recruitment. Given his reported (falsely and otherwise) off field issues, I'd say OSU has backed off a bit.

Until a visit is scheduled for Gibson and/or Waller, both recruitments have clearly cooled.

The fact that Ohio State backed off isn't really a surprise.
