WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

coryhulbert;1301117; said:
May be a very dumb question, but IF he doesn't succeed at WR is there any chance he goes to DB?

As much as this hurts, he will not succeed at WR until he gets a QB without a noodle for an arm. Also they need to get Teddy involved in this "Wildcat" formation they got going on down there in Miami. How could you possibly defend Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Ted Ginn and still respect the pass. Answer is, you can't.

Teddy Ginn silencing some critics today and shredding the Bills defense. He's got 4 catches for 131 middle of the 3rd quarter today and set up both two scores for the 'Phins. Too bad he's not playing defense today, we could use him.

Its been interesting to watch Ginn this year. He has been clearly picking up the offense and his role the last few weeks and it seemed to me the playcallers were trying to keep him under wraps so they could surprise a team with a game like this.

As to formation, all his catches were from normal offenses, at least 4 different routes, all defended by McGee and sometimes doubled by the safety. He completely dominated McGee catching one in his face, eluding coverage and breaking free for yards after the catch.

He also has 19 catches in the last 4 games, and should overtake Camarillo as the leading receiver soon.

Ginn has career day as Dolphins rally past Bills

MIAMI -- Ted Ginn Jr.'s career in Miami began with boos, and it took 18 months for him to silence the critics.

A draft bust no more, Ginn made seven catches Sunday for a career-high 175 yards, and the Dolphins overcame a nine-point third-quarter deficit to beat Buffalo 25-16.

With Ginn's first 100-yard game, he made by far his biggest impact since Miami's much-mocked decision to take him with the ninth overall pick last year. Fans at a draft party booed when the selection was announced, and he has heard plenty of criticism since.
