Oh cmon.. you dont really believe that, do you? Whitner is as competitive as they get, no way he'd be hesitant in popping Ginn

I agree and I am pretty sure Whitner would level his mother if she tried to come across the middle. I don't think there is any validity in saying that Whitner was hesitant in hitting Ginn either.

Q&A: Dolphins WR Ted Ginn, Jr.

South Florida Sun-Sentinel 1:08 PM EDT, October 28, 2008 On his conversation with his father immediately after Sunday's game against the Bills) - "It was great. He was trying to get ready for his playoffs so he was trying to do his little things. He saw the game, it was cool."

(On if he talked to Lee Evans) - "Yeah, I talked to Lee Evans. We had a good conversation. I'm going to try to get with him in the offseason. Him and Chris (Chambers), those are some great guys right there. I've been in the league two years and I've seen them change as far as receivers. I'm going to get with those guys."

(On if he watched Chris Chambers when he was younger) - "Yeah. We're not that far, but as far as track went, I watched him a lot because he was a hurdler guy, I was a hurdler. I watched him a lot."

Any Ginn mention brings to mind the incredible story of Ohio State's trip to the Alamo Bowl in 2004.

During an interview session, tape recorders picked up a conversation Ginn was having with former Ohio State employee Todd Lamb, who was seated next to him.

"Been to the Alamo?" Lamb said, making small talk.

"Huh?" Ginn replied.

"You know, the Alamo," Lamb nervously repeated.

After a short pause, Ginn said, "Alamo what?"

Apparently Ohio State needs to offer remedial history classes, because the only thing Ginn knew about the Alamo was that it was the name of the bowl he was about to play in.

And the team hotel was across the street from the Alamo.

Great pick by the Dolphins

I will always defend TGII, but I dont think that this was a great pick for the 'Phins. He was picked way too early, and the "Phins didnt have the system in place to utilize TGII's strengths. I wish him nothing but the best and hope his last game was indicitive of things to come but the "Phins wouldve been better off taking BQ at #9.

How do you know? What has BQ done? His career stats are 3/8 for 45 yards.

Sorry OB I didnt see your reply

I dont know, I said I think. I like Teddy and think he'll emerge in the upcoming years. Cam Cameron said that he drafted him as a kick returner. The dolphins right now dont have the other players in position to enhance what Teddy can do for a team. His route running is not GREAT at this point in his career. He can stretch the field though.

lol as I say that TGII makes a bad ass catch in double coverage for a 39 yrd TD.

I know nothing!!

Its a shame that Teddy keep getting kick returns for touchdowns called back. He had two called back last year (@ Cleveland, @ Buffalo) and now another one called back this year.

I didnt get a chance to see the play because the game isnt televised here. Is there any chance somebody could put a clip of the return up on you tube and post it here??
