WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

i said it last year, ill say it again this year. ginn gains nothing by posting an official 40 time. the "legend" of his speed is worth far more than the fact of his speed. even if it were the lowest 40 time in combine history he would gain little. ginn is a weapon from many different positions on offense. he is also one of the best special teams threats to come out of college, period.

he has speed that is beyond coaching. however, his 40 time has NEVER been of legend. in fact its been rumored for the last 2 years that ginn wasn't even the fastest in the 40 on the tOSU roster let alone in college football.

even healthy he wouldn't have ran at the combine.

My point is without his great speed(blazin 40 time) Ginn doesnt look nearly as good.
He must run a blazin time to separate from other possible top WR picks.
Otherwise he drops down.
Perhaps, but low to mid 4.3's is blazin' fast. 4.2's is essentially impossible.
IIRC, it was Deion Sanders. i read somewhere that he could run a 4.5 backwards.
It was. I don't know about the backward 4.5, but the forward 4.29 was recorded the year before they went to electric measurement, I believe. So even that one is up for some debate.

OSU's Ginn won't let injury drag him down

His foot sprain is still healing, and he expects to be a top-10 draft pick.

INDIANAPOLIS ? In the blink of an eye, Ohio State receiver Ted Ginn Jr.'s world changed.
He had just returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown in the BCS Championship Game against Florida. Then, suddenly, he was stapled to the sideline, the victim of a mid-foot sprain suffered in the end-zone celebration when teammate Roy Hall dragged him down.

Cont'd...
