The Milivanilli comment is old...I was called that about 100 times over on Bustnuts years ago. As for an OSU going to a Texas site as stating Ginn is faster than Charles, he shouldn't be blasted there because he'd be correct--Ginn is faster than Charles.

I wish it had been that simple. To recap, you simply posted track times. You never really debated/discussed anything beyond that.

Also, this thread was started about an article referencing Ginn's impressive skills on the football field. Proven skills at the NCAA level, in big NCAA games.

I haven't read the other thread where you had an argument regarding speeds of players, greatness of Charles, etc. Therefore, since your post contained track times (and not the most accurately representative times at that) in a football thread, and you didn't take the time to present your viewpoint and how it related to the original topic, your post was rightfully viewed as an inflammatory item that served no other clear purpose.

Now then, if you harbor bad feelings towards other due to some prior thread/discussion, please deal with that issue by PMing the other party or a mod/admin to resolve the issue. Carrying your grievance into another a thread is not justified in any such scenario, since other viewers (such as myself) don't care about your previous issue, especially when we don't even know such an issue exists.

Resolve such matters properly from now on.

I must have missed that.

The point is if you go to another teams site and post something like that, you should expect to get ripped. I should have stated like another said regarding Boeckman being better than VY.

You aren't a guest. You're a member of the Buckeye Planet. We know this because you can make ridiculous posts, while a guest can only read them. As members of the BP family, we dislike when people flame (which you did, as previously pointed out), and we dislike people using incorrect stats to back up already stupid posts. We give people who do this a hard time (as you've just seen) and let them know that kind of crap only works on Bucknuts, not on BP. There have been many posters who have started out in a similar manner to what you have (The Colonel aka Mr. Incredible comes to mind) and after receiving enough bad rep to kill a horse, they change the way they post (facts and well thought out opinions), they come back into the green and are accepted as new members of the family. Don't take it personally, take it as a learning experience.
