WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

jwinslow said:
he really is an incredibly quiet, humble guy... who is incredibly confident on the field. Absolutely perfect attitude, if you ask me. So many gamebreakers have shifted our perception of what a great player should look like... like Sanders, Woodson, Moss, Owens, etc.

This is exactly what you should look like, young players. Come out, dominate, and stare into the opposing student section when you punk their team's dbs (ie MSU).

Easily one of the most unstoppable forces in the second half of 2004, and yet his biggest taunt was one quick little "shhh" with his hand towards the student section. I bet he got whipped by Tressel and daddy Ginn for that one too :)
That great, self effacing attitude is another reason why when folks ask who Ginn reminds me of, I always cite Tim Brown (though Jerry Rice would be another great player on field, yet humble man off field comparative).

1. I can't believe we've let this Texasize dude hyjack this thread. What an idiot. Jamaal has nothing to do with the ass-kissing, lets-kiss-and-make-up, don't-kill-me-on-the-10th article that ESPN wrote. I say ignore the dumbass. Otherwise, let's take some bets as to who will have more TD's that day: Teddy Ballgame or Jamaal. Or how about yards from scrimmage? Or total touches? Or total plays? Or bigger impact? He's a jackass looking for a rise, and he got it.
2. The lack of bombs to Ginn is a good point. Just get back in the shot gun and HEAVE!!! I don't remember the Michigan or bowl game plays either. That's something that we should definitely see this year.
3. I also hope to see more reverses. He came around on a reverse in the Michigan game, but the ball was handed off (fake reverse). If it would have been a reverse, Teddy was ALL ALONE!!! It would have been a freaking walk to the endzone.

the great thing about ginn is he'll hurt the defense greatly even if he doesnt get the ball. no one could cover ginn deep, im sure tressel knows this so i expect to see alot of deep passes thrown to him.
With big guys like Hall and Lyons to throw to, sending Ginn deep to occupy the safeties should open up mid range stuff down the seam. We have so many weapons its scary.
