Seriously, this is pathetic. We are in a thread talking about Ginn being a truly great sophomore and you march in here talking up one of your players being faster than him. You pull totally random stats comparing them at different points in their career and expect that to hold any ground, especially with the fact that one has proven himself in college and the other hasn't proved a damn thing yet. You then start criticizing the admins and mods here and expect everything you say to be a-ok. I know for a fact that if we were talking shit to the admins and mods at your site we would be getting as much crap as you are right now. The fact you keep getting more chances to redeem yourself by shutting your yapper is astounding. Seriously tho, this is a "Buckeye" site and you have to expect the members here to be biast towards them. The minute you try and make our players look bad is the minute we will see you as stirring the pot and trying to cause trouble

Actually, you wouldn't Brutus. Some would, of course, but many would likely agree. One thig's for sure, our mods wouldn't be calling names...especially to guests. They're a little more professional than that.

I bet your mods wouldn't tolerate outsiders calling them losers, either. We don't resort to namecalling until called names ourselves.

Texasuck: Give it up. No one is as fast as Ginn...no one.
I agree Mili, these idiots are hardly worth responding to, but i echo your sentiments....while there may be a few track stars who play football that have faster times on the track, Teddy G. is probably the fastest dude I've ever seen with the ball in his hands...only other guy i can think of that can match his game speed is Michael Vick

Come to think of it, did he catch any bombs last year? Were any attempted? I don't remember any. Doesn't it make sense to see how far Smith/Zwick can throw it and let Ginn just run underneath it?
It does, Smith missed him once in The Game (the announcer was all over it). And Zwick underthrew him in the bowl.

Its truly amazing the yardage he racked up without any bombs. Just wait :)

There have been track stars who played football. Renaldo Nehemiah comes to mind. I would venture to say that Charles will fit this criteria.

But Ted Ginn is a football star who runs track. Track to him is the same as us plopping down on the Incline bench. Its a workout to him. Something to make him a better football player. Not the the be all, end all to his talent. Carl Lewis couldn't have turned that quick hitch into a 42 yard jaw dropper like Ginn did. Nor could Michael Johnson or Jason Gatlin. You have to have ball carrying skills to be a football player. Not just be fleet of foot.

Raw speed is great.
Body control is an absolute must.
When you have a wealth of both, as Ginn does, that is something special.

Even the case you make about Ginns speed doesn't discount Charles also blinding speed. So...all the times I've been called a tool & an idiot for speaking about Charles speed is unjustified criticism.
What the heck did this thread have to do with Charles? Answer that. Why did you feel the need to hop on a thread about Ginn, and do nothing but boast about track times (which turned out to be false)?

Guess what, Shark4 on HornFans does a similar thing, he starts threads about OSU constantly when most of the people don't care anymore.

This thread wasn't about your precious Charles, who will probably be a very good player from the looks of his tapes. You butted in to a nice thread about Ginn, and offered no explanation... leaving us to assume that you were out to prove that Charles was better than Ginn thanks to track times.

That's called trolling. it might not be flaming, it might not be cursing people out from the start, but its inflammatory and off-topic.

This isn't the texas thread, where you could bring up that Charles is a stud and may turn some heads on the 10th. This was about our player. If that concept is lost on you, than this thread will only get more comical and your stay will probably become shorter.

In the Alamo Bowl, Ginn beat the D and was open for a bomb.

Zwick underthrew it like WHOA. Teddy was pissed, I believe.
I don't remember that play. Nor the one in The Game. I should watch them again, soon.

And it doesn't surprise me that Zwick underthrew him. And that's not a knock on Zwick. You could launch a football from a howitzer and give Ginn a track of several miles and I wouldn't be surprised if Ginn outran the play.

man I hope that dude got banned. I read a decent article by Espin and then try to read comments about the article and I get to read 5 pages of some dumb fuck trying to talk about Charles Who? Never heard of him.

As for the bomb comment there was also a time when Ginn was being single covered by a lb in the Purdue game and I was screaming for him to go deep. He did but the ball was not thrown to him. Let me tell you he was wide open. I think if we get man coverage this year we are going to eat it alive.
