I agreed. Mcguffie could earn a ship and come in as an athlete and be moved to CB. He appears to want to be on offense though.

Also, the Bucks have invested alot of time recruiting MD and Virginia the past few years. This effort could be paying off.

This is the best update we've had for him imo, since Lamaar has had some time to cool down from the visit. The only thing that concerns me is he is adamant about playing early, something he could Zooked on I believe. I could certainly see Zook telling him there is a logjam of talent on our depth chart and he will play earlier at Illinois. In my honest opinion though, I think Lamaar is good enough to come in and at least return some kicks his first year and be used a bit in the passing game. The only concern is that he would need to add a bit of bulk before he hits the college field.

wow.....i hate to state the obvious, but he must have loved his visit. Its nice to see a kid be "wow'd" by the place we love.

I really don't like it when kids make decisions based on facts and figures instead of going with their gut....no matter what school....but its even nicer when they fall in love with TOSU!!!!

When certain members of the staff want a kid this bad, he really has zero choice but to love his visit.

Somewhere in the Rumor Mill is a post where we said to keep an eye on this kid because Hazell was infatuated with him...looks like the info was dead solid.

Still pretty positive for the Bucks. I'm not really concerned about talk about his position right now - I know he took alot of WR reps at tOSU camp, but, at least the way I understood it, that was more for the staff to get a look at Lamaar at WR up close.

i think florida is the real threat to osu in getting thomas...although florida has more WR irons in the fire than osu right now with julio jones, tj lawrence..etc...also feel that LT has to like the depth chart at WR osu has in the upcoming years

Illinois fans on RecruitingPlanet.com are very confident about their chances with "Flash" Thomas because of his long relationship with Coach Locksley...FWIW.
