WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

Harvin's actually 5'11 and 188, at least that's what he's listed as on UF's official roster.

The fastest recruit in this year's class is actually Jeff Demps from Florida. He just ran a laser timed 10.25 in the AAU Junior Olympics Semifinals and a 10.26 in the Finals. He ran FIVE 10.40 or under times during the track season a few months ago, winning the Florida 2A track title with a record breaking 10.37(old record of 10.38 was held by Walter Dix, this year's NCAA 100m champion). He also won the Junior Olympics in the 200m withe a laser timed 21.04.

Wasn't there a mid season period where Harvin got hurt and Florida's offense stalled?

I don't see Tress using Thomas like Harvin. Different offensive systems.
I do see Thomas as a slot type receiver who gets mismatches. (Gonzo)
Or even split out. (Santonio Holmes)

illinois having the last visit is still an uneasy feeling.

As long as we have the first or last official, I have no complaints. It's when we are in the middle when I feel a little uneasy.

Zook doesn't scare me with Thomas, based on geography and the type of role he would play at OSU. He would shine at OSU if he were to commit to us.

Zook shouldn't scare anyone when it comes to Thomas...Coach Locksley should...

No doubt we have to over come their long standing relationship...but I think it is *VERY* doable.

However, I would not be surprised if Locksley is why the Illini will have final visit so we shouldn't sleep on their ties.....but I remains optimistic that we can pull him into Cbus!
